What a little doll she is. I think many groomers feel that they don't want to put them through the pain of getting many mats out of their hair and feel the humane thing is to shave them back. I wouldn't be too upset with your groomer and lucky you are to have a little one that looks good that way. My Mother chose to shave my hair off at about one year old since it was coming in every way under the sun, I have pictures. To this day I am grateful so you too may find she will have an even nicer coat. Hope so. |
I think she is adorable! I keep Ian in a puppy cut, but he has a lot of hair on his legs and head. I groom him myself because I really don't feel comfortable with groomers. A while ago someone here on yt said that her baby is blind in one eye because of the groomer! I would nerve have any groomer go near his face! Once you get use to her haircut, you'll like it more and more each day. Chihuahuas wish they were that adorable!:):aimeeyork |
She still looks adorable, even short. They look so tiny without the fluff! I recently cut about 3-4 inches off Huey and my dh has STILL not forgiven me. I am looking forward to him growing out, too (if for no other reason than to shut up the hubby), and he isn't nearly that short! Grow, babies, grow! :D |

The good news is...she looks adorable either way. Perhaps you could find a cut that interests you and take it in to show your groomer the next time you get her hair cut. Make sure you get a t-shirt for her if she is going to be out in the sun for any length of time so she doesn't get a sunburn. |
She is still adorable! But I would definitely look for another groomer. You tell them what U want, not the other way around. |
awww she is adorable. instead of finding a new groomer you may want to consider buying a pair of good clippers and guards and doing it yourself. I like being in control of what my kidz look like in the end. Plus we have bonding time. hehe except they wont speak to me for a few hours afterward. |

I remember almost fainting the first time Buster was groomed...and she called to tell me she needed to shave him because of his mats. I still wasn't prepared. I don't remember how long it took for him to grow out but it taught me that I needed to do a better job of brushing him. I keep him cut short but brush him almost every time that he is still. |
