Growing out his nose the best thing I did!!!! 2 Attachment(s) It was tough but growing out his nose and eye hair was the best thing I did. It was tough but now it is so easy. If you're thinking about it. It's worth it!!! |
I love when you post pics! How do you ever get anything done with such a cutie around? Oh I agree, PIB to do but once it grows out it's so much nicer! |
Love it!!! |
I'm in the process of doing that same thing now with Lexi. Boy, it takes forever! Maybe another couple months. It looks great though. |
Beautiful boy. :) |
He's gorgeous!!! |
Deuce would look stunning no matter how his hair is, but this is the best way to keep the hair out of his eyes and also to see his beautiful face. I've always kept the topknot like this on my little girls. . |
I love it! He looks wonderful. How long did that take? |
Stunning |
Deuce just has such piercing eyes. Grabs your heart! Love his topknot, too. Great job on growing out his mustache. Mandie's is so hard to "tame" and make lay down. How do you get Deuce's to lay so nice? |

I know the taming question is for Deuce's mom, but I wanted to tell you that I can sympathize because Max has a wild lion's mane. He likes it that way. I comb and comb, then he shakes and shakes to get his hair fluffed up again. Makes his head look twice as big. |
What a face!!!!!!! Deuce is adorable!! |
He is adorable. :-) |

He is gorgeous and it looks great. I tried letting Pixie's grow out and I failed:( I wish I ad the patience to do it. what did you use to keep it out of his eyes when it was growing out? |
2 Attachment(s) He looks beautiful. I am in the process of growing out Huey's nose, too. A groomer once shaved the bridge of his nose and I kept it that way a long time, but am ready for him to wear it longer to match the rest of him. Here is the before, with the shaved nose, and here he is this week (this is the stinkeye, I didn't want a bath pic I already posted on another thread, but it shows his nose) |

1 Attachment(s) The ONE time I had him groomed by a groomer this is what they did. I thought it gave him a surprised look to his face. Actually I think he looks like a Leprechaun. He was about 5 - 6 months old. |

He is so adorable and his top knot looks great. SO smooth and perfect. Im growing out Ruby's too. The loose hairs above her eyes are almost 3 inches now. Still a ways to go before I can get them in her top knot. I never know what to do with the inner eye hairs. They are so out of control when I try to let them grow out and never lay down so I just cut them. |

Deuce is so gorgeous, love his hair, his face...love him! loll It takes about 6 months to grow out the hair between the eyes, long enough so that the hairs will weigh down & lay flat naturally. I don't use anything like top knot gel on it either, but I did what you did...use water. I cleaned their eyes several x's a day w/a wet baby terry cloth. |

I don't like cutting the hair around the eyes. Once you cut it, you always have to keep it cut to keep the eyes free from junk. The weight of the hair will weigh it down once it gets longer. I highly recommend using Jenny's Madan mustache comb to train the eye hairs. Mary, I see you already use one on Deuce. A cottony coat might not lay down flat and may stay puffy, but that looks adorable, too. I love seeing all of your photos of Deuce. You do a wonderful job grooming your gorgeous little boy. |

He is gorgeous!! How long did it take? Do his eyes water a lot like they do when the hair is shorter? |
It took at least 6 months of constant care. Yes his eyes did water when they were irritated but I give him Nursery Water instead of tap water so his eyes do not tear and stain very much at all. |
Deuce is way too cute for words!! The vet shaved 1/2 of my Phoebes head & face for her cataract surgery in April:eek:! I still haven't been able to even it out, and its only about an inch over her eyes now. I know that it will eventually grow out but the wait is hard! |
