| He won't let me near his face anymore :( I've been grooming my Yorkie since I got him 6 months ago, he's 8 months now. Granted, I had to do it in phases when he was in the mood to sit still for it so sometimes it was when he was sleepy. Mostly I put a towel on the cafe table so he can't jump off and use blending shears from Sally's. they work great and I get lots of compliments but now he won't let me near his face without nipping at me and with scissors in my hand I have to be very careful not to poke him when he turns his head so fast. They are not pointy but could still cause damage is something went wrong. I like to keep his snout kinda short and the hair out of his eyes but he wants no part of it now. Any tips how to gain his trust again? I tried treats today and it didn't go so well |

| Part of the issue is he is now a teenager,,,,attitude. Being careful and being persistant, going back to waiting for him to be sleepy. Mina us "lil miss attitude" at this age and I just went back to what I did when she was much younger. She is now 2yrs and just sits still for me to do her face. Good luck! |
