When I grew out Yoshi's top knot, I used 2 bands. I grouped the shorter hair in the front together. Then I grouped the longer hair & attached the shorter group to the longer one with the same rubber band. That way, it stayed put & wouldn't fall out. Confused yet??? I'll try to find a pic of his hair like that. |
1 Attachment(s) Here's a pic of him when I used 3 bands. I don't know why I used 3. That was the one & only time. I usually used just 2. But anyway, clips & barrettes would always fall out. So I just made 2 sections of hair & banded the shorter one to the longer one. |

Galen's hair is getting long but I can not get him to sit still long enough to get clips in his hair. He hates it but I love it. lol I don't know how I can get bands in his hair. |

Many exhibitors use it after to shows to break down hairspray in topknots and to help keep them in good condition. You can use it on the body too. Rub a little in your palm and run your hands through the hair. My boys are hair monsters, so they didn't need any thickening, but it did help with preventing breakage. I really need to order some more. :) |
After hearing your recommendation, I ordered the small jar and even though I can't say yet if it helps hair growth, it really works wonders keeping the hair on the top of Sophie's head from getting tangled, even when using a rubber band. I think this is going to be wonderful. Thanks for the recommendation!!:D |

Thanks. I was thinking of ordering the large size and splitting with another YT mom. I have the hardest time with Crimson rubbing her topknot on stuff so we have some breakage. Plus, her's is so thin! :( I knew, if you recommended it though it was good b/c your boys are so breath taking! |
