| What are the best grooming tools for a thick cottony coat ? My Shih Tzu/Poodle has a thick cotton coat that mats very easily .. I need a comb & brush for her... Any suggestions ? |

| I use a very fine tooth (plastic) comb and also a slightly wider spaced comb with metal rotating pins. I think that that type would work really well on your girl. I found it at Target on clearance this summer and I absolutely love it. With the pins rotating they never get stuck in the hair. Also, do you use a detangler and conditioner on her? Those should totally help with the matting and tangles.

| You can get any of the Regular/Medium sized pin brush, they come in a color choice of Baby Blue, Blue, Pink, Purple or Red. You can also go w/the slightly firmer standard cushion in Black. All the Madan combs are great, you can get the 6" Ringside or any of the 7.5" combs. It will be great for all your gang!
