| Puppy Cut pics, anyone? Does anyone have a picture of a puppy cut on a yorkie? I'm looking for a very short and cute hair for Lillie. I do her grooming myself so I need an idea of what I am aiming for. I know how I am going to do the body, I just can't figure out the head. I don't know whether to leave a topknot or not, how short to go, round it out or not, etc. Here is a somewhat recent picture of Lillie... Lillie29.jpg She has been a little stinker lately and has been rubbing and rolling against everything. As a result her hair especially on the head is broken pretty badly. It's like half the length in these pictures, I don't even know if I can salvage a topknot because it is broken so short already. So I need to cut it real short to get off the dead broken ends. But I've never gave any of mine a short haircut so pictures would really help!! She has a very soft cottony coat. She is tiny at under 4lbs so I was thinking a haircut that would make her look like a puppy would be cute. She's got the big puppy eyes and a short muzzle to pull it off if done right. I may keep her in this cut if I like it. So if anyone has any pictures or ideas, they would be greatly appreciated!!

| Here are pictures of Brandy with short puppy cuts. You can see the last two and my Avatar are when they have grown out a little. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I had Cali cut into a longer puppy cut about 6 months ago. She has a very thick cotton coat that mats easily. I had a groomer do it as I am not sure how to use clippers other than on their ears. Lillie is adorable.

| I love the puppy cut pics. Does anyone do it themselves? I have clippers and scissors, I just can't get my puppy to stay still though. Anyone have grooming advice for puppy cuts as well? |

| Lillie is adorable! During the summer, I give mine altered puppy cuts... I keep their head and beard hair longer and shave their bodies. I leave Couver's leg hair longer and I trim Khloe's (she has a cotton coat and mats easily). Shaving their bodies is pretty easy... And for the face, I just trim it and keep the shape that it already has. Good luck! Have you cut her hair yet?

| Aww, they all look so cute in their puppy cuts!! Great pics everyone!! No I haven't cut Lillie's hair yet. I keep debating whether to do it myself or take her to a groomer. I've always done it myself so she's never been to a groomer. But I want it to look good. But then I worry so much about taking them to a groomer these days. I need to make a decision soon, I'm just torn on what to do. She looks like a hedgehog right now because her hair (especially on the face) is sticking out every which way, it is just so damaged.

| Here are some cute little cuts from Korea. I'm thinking about trying this on my girls! I love to experiment and if it doesn't work, it can always grow out again. 432320_278172432254248_100001844798517_730072_1765677014_n.jpg74528_102736763131150_100001844798517_18114_4694849_n.jpg75800_102736439797849_100001844798517_18094_5871472_n.jpg76545_102736916464468_100001844798517_18123_5466108_n.jpg |

My furkids Donating Member | I clip my pups myself. Sadie and Lille just sit there and let me do it. I use scissors around their face and a 1" clipper guide. Bentley isn't a fan of the clippers...OR staying still for very long. I put a thin harness on him and leash him to my cabinet door...I make the leash short enough so that his front paws are just barely touching the counter...this way he doesn't have much room to move. This has worked for me. I know a lot of people bring them to groomers...sometimes they get the look that they want and sometime they don't. I won't take the chance so I do it myself. Matter of Fact...Bentley is getting clipped today!
