I use all the Yorkie Splash and Shine products. They work great and smell wonderful.
I have the small Madden pin brush and I have to say it doesn't work well for me and Gracie. It's not that it isn't a nice brush but Gracie is on the small side and her coat is fine and silky. I prefer a smaller brush. I also find the tips of the Madden to be too sharp for Gracie's skin. I do like the Inisis brush though.
I have a 7" metal comb for her body and a 4" moustache comb for her face. Don't think I could groom her without those. Also round tipped scissors for around her face and feet.
I do intend to get some electric clippers when I figure out which ones would be best for what I would use them for.
I use the Yorkie Splash and Shine spray detangler on Gracie's ends between baths when her ends get kind of dry and tangle. I spray her top knot with a really fine mist of water when I am taking it out to prevent breakage when combing through it.
I have yet to find a really good toe nail clipper that is the right size for her little nails. | The Small brushes are firmer than the Regular sized in soft which come in the colors Baby Blue, Orange & Pink. So, because the cushion is firmer & it doesn't press down as easily, the pins might feel sharper, but it's the same pins on all brushes, just different cushion softness. Does that make sense? The Small brush is able to brush out tangles because of it's firmer cushion. If you start @ the ends of the hair, the pins penetrate the hair & loosens the tangle.
I like the scissor type nail clippers, they just seem to work better for the smaller breeds.
I will need to try out the Isinis brush, have heard many good reviews of them here.
@ DvlshAngel985 & kalina82 , I use the Regular Purple on myself & it makes my long hair so silky soft! |
