| Stuck Poo! I picked my pup up yesterday and last night I noticed he had Poo stuck in his fur which was matted. I put him in the sink and soaked his bottom and brushed the Poo out! Then I shaved the area where it was matted and found his little bum was a bit red but this morning it's all drying out nice. I just wanted to know is it best to keep this behind trimmed and has this happened to you? Last edited by KCartlidge; 06-30-2011 at 09:58 AM. |

| A good breeder would have been on top of that situation immediately!! I hope that will be all that your baby ends up with. I don't think you will find anyone here on YT that doesn't keep their fur-kids clean and well groomed.

| Yes it helps to keep the bum area trimmed. I trim between groomings. Usually every two weeks or so just before his bath. His bum was probably red from the acid in his poo, or because of the matting. I also shave up my boys belly half way to his armpits or so. This helps keep him from peeing on his coat. Congratulations on you furbaby. |
