Zhoie's mommy Tena did such an amazing job with Zhoie's summer haircut!! I went by Tena's directions and tried it out on my two today. I am no where near as good at grooming as Tena, but they turned out much better than I anticipated I would do. Heck I may keep them like this year round as they love wearing clothes. I couldn't get Bogie to cooperate for pics today, he is such a stinker.

Tena posted on her thread about the blade size and how to do it on her thread Zhoie's summer cut. Here is a link to the thread. It was really easy to do, but I was very nervous as I had never went cut them this short before.

I'm so tempted to do this, but Rizzo is so tall and lanky I'm afraid he'll just look silly, lol. Well...it is just hair

Rizzo would look so cute in this cut. Bogie is very long legged and it looks really cute on him. I wish he would cooperate and let me take a pic of him standing up, but he is such a stubborn little guy.

I finally got a horribly out of focus pic of Bogie standing up. I had to chase him all over the house. I tried treats to get him to cooperate, but they only get treats if they sit and every time I got near him with a treat his butt hit the floor

sorry it is so fuzzy

OMGosh Michelle....they are GORGEOUS! You did an excellent job!

I truely love it on them. I was anxious for you to give it a try and you did fantasitc! Maybe we have earned our junior groomer titles. AHAHAHA.

Thanks Tena!! I am no where near as talented as you. I never know how to do their facial hair. The 7f blade worked perfectly and I did it just as you instructed. I think I am going to keep them in this cut because it is just adorable. LOL after I cleaned my blades and put everything away I noticed a couple of spots along their tummies that I missed. I didn't have the heart to get everything back out. They were so good and patient with me, I decided to wait until next week to even those spots up.

I see Bogie's pretty tail everyday and I just love the way he carries it so proudly, but I just noticed in that pic I posted how it really stands out now with the short hair on his saddle.
