Summer cut for Zhoie 3 Attachment(s) I gave Zhoie her summer cut this morning and thought I would share some pics with you. Hope you like it :) |
I love it! It's gorgeous!!! |
its sooo cute! but really, any cut would look cute on little Zhoie!!! :) |
Love it! She looks great! |
She looks as gorgeous as always, love the cut. :) |
Thanks :) It is so much easier like this with her being a cotton coat, I don't know why I don't keep this way year round . I'll have to check with others to see if that would be ok. Then we could wear clothes everyday. DH so loves this cut on her too. What a task, had to empty my sweeper canister...twice...the girl can grow some hair, :D. geez... |
I love this cut. It reminds my of Nancy1999's Joey. I always like how you trim around her face...of course it helps that she had the most adorable face to start with :) |
This is very similar to Joey's cut and I love it. Once he started playing with my son's Shih Tzu, it was very hard to keep his hair from breaking, and this cut make him look good all the time. Another bonus is it shows off their great little bodies, I love the way a healthy yorkie body looks! Zhoie is adorable, and you did an excellent job! |
Thanks. It was "the Joey" the inspired me to attempt to cut Zhoie down last summer. This is the first time I've tried to trim the front of her chest. Needless to say, she is pretty boney in that area, so it's a bit choppy. We'll try to do better on her trim up in a couple weeks, :D. Another challenge for me, not being talented like a good groomer, is her face. Seems I just can't get it to look like I what I would like it to, but we'll keep practicing that too. ;) |
She is such a pretty girl! I love her cut to :) |
Zhoie is Adorable anyway, but you did an Awesome job. Her cut is so neat & cute. Wish I could do that. |
Very Cute |
I love it!!!! You did a great job and I love the way you cut her face too. What blade did you use on Zhoie's body? I cut Jada and Bogie short a couple of months ago and I want to go as short as you have Zhoie on her body now that it is getting warmer. I love the shorter styles and am going to keep my two short year round. They just wear t-shirts around the house when it is cooler and do fine. I love that last pic of Zhoie sunning on the deck, she is such a little beauty.:) |
She looks great. You did a nice job. I wouldn't know where to begin. |
Wow Tena she looks fabulous! I think this is one of the best looks for a cottony coat, it is just one of the cutest cuts I've seen! |
WOW! She is one gorgeous girlie!!! Love the cut. |

I have an Oster A5 and last year I order a 7F blade to trim this close. I used it first going from head to tail. To get it even shorter, I would have went against the hair growth, but a couple weeks ago I was at PetSmart and bought the smaller Oster Cordless trimmer that has five built-in blade lengths on the dial. I used it and went over her with #9 and it made it just the length I wanted and flat. Very covenient to have those blade lengths on on dial/trimmer. |
I have an Andis clipper and I have the 4f,5f,7f and 10 blade. I have been using the 5f so I will try the 7f when I clip them this week. Thanks!! I may try going against the hair growth if it ends up not being short enough. Never tried doing that before. :D |

Good luck....can't wait to see pictures :D |
Oh that little Zhoie girl is precious in her new "do"! I really like it a lot! I would be too nervous trying to cut Betty Boop's, but I think she would look cute in this cut. Way to go, Tena! |
