I love the shorter styles and am going to keep my two short year round. They just wear t-shirts around the house when it is cooler and do fine.
I love that last pic of Zhoie sunning on the deck, she is such a little beauty.:)
I think I'm going to keep her cut year round too, it's just so nice.

I have an Oster A5 and last year I order a 7F blade to trim this close. I used it first going from head to tail. To get it even shorter, I would have went against the hair growth, but a couple weeks ago I was at PetSmart and bought the smaller Oster Cordless trimmer that has five built-in blade lengths on the dial. I used it and went over her with #9 and it made it just the length I wanted and flat. Very covenient to have those blade lengths on on dial/trimmer.

I have an Andis clipper and I have the 4f,5f,7f and 10 blade. I have been using the 5f so I will try the 7f when I clip them this week. Thanks!! I may try going against the hair growth if it ends up not being short enough. Never tried doing that before. :D

I did find when I use the 7F with the growth, it was close enough and looked to chopped, but I think that is because of her cotton coat. Last year, I went with the growth then went against the growth and it was perfect and flat. I think against will get just what you are looking for.

Oh that little Zhoie girl is precious in her new "do"! I really like it a lot! I would be too nervous trying to cut Betty Boop's, but I think she would look cute in this cut. Way to go, Tena!

Lila, Boop would look so darling in this cut. The shock is how small they look afterwards, especially on cotton coats. Zhoie looked so wide...now so skinny. :D

I think you did a very good job. She looks very regal in that cut. If you don't mind, I think I might try that cut on Gidget next time I groom her.

LOVE it! Zhoie looks gorgeous as usual! I gave Marley a similar cut..it is so much easier like you said.

Oh, don't mind at all....Gidget will look so cute with this cut. Can't wait to see pictures of her.
