| 2 quick questions about grooming products 1. I just received my pet silk products and one of them is the silk serum. I haven't used it yet (she's due for a bath in a few days) and I'm afraid I'm going to make her into an oil slick lol. How do any of you who use it apply it and how much do you use? Alice's coat is slightly on the thin side and I guess you would call it silky but it's dull and kind of rough (which is one of the reasons I got the product), definatly NOT cottony. Also, it says wet or dry coat, should I use it once a week after her bath while she's still wet? The directions aren't clear on how much or how often. 2. I'm on the hunt for a good cologne spray that's also a coat conditioner (need it for my other 2 dogs also). I got the pet silk one with the kit I ordered, but I'm not crazy over the smell and it's kind of giving me a headache (reminds me of my grandmother's hairspray LOL). I also got last week Espree's "Good Girl" when I ordered their face wash and that was definatly a no go - way too floral (even though their site said it was a clean scent), I gave it away to a friend with a Yorkies. I want something with a "clean, fresh" scent or even something a little "fruity", definatly nothing at all floral. I love the way my aunt's cocker spaniel smells when she comes back from the groomer, but she has no idea what it is. Thanks in advance for any tips , I don't want to waste any more $ on something I won't use and the pet stores don't seem to sell anything decent.

| Every coat is different, so you will have to experiment with the PetSilk Silk Serum. Start with a very tiny amount and use your palms to work it through the hair. I use it on Teddy to comb tangles before a bath. For Max, it doesn't take much to make him look greasy. I've never tried it on wet hair. The Silk Serum has a strong scent to it, so I wouldn't combine it with a cologne spray. Your pup might be overwhelmed.
