| Clip Hair Between Eyes? I like a long coat on my yorkie. I wish I had never cut it so it would be longer. Here is my question... are you supposed to have your groomer cut the hair between the eyes? My groomer has always done that, but I don't like it as it is growing out between groomings and I certainly won't risk using scissors that close to the eyes. Does anyone let this grow out on thier yorkies and is there any problem doing that like eye infections? I take really good care of my yorkie's coat and have no problem spending time each day brushing, etc. so maintenance is not an issue with me. Thanks for the feedback... |

| I put a hair clip to keep his hair out of his eyes and make sure to keep the eye crusties away. So far no issues.

| I don't cut the hair on my boys' faces. It is a little extra work keeping topknots and moustaches combed so that hair doesn't get into the eyes. There is no greater risk for eye infections as long as the dog is properly groomed -- think of the show dogs with all of their hair. |
