Louie's groomer charges 35.00 plus tip. |
55. but they aren't just a groomer. They are also a spa and she get extremely pampered. She has only been there once and I loved it so Ahi will go back. :) She also boards and has a vet that comes and visits. (I was actually there to assess her and her services when Mr. Vet came in for a routine visit.) |

Daisy has a long coat and I do everything myself...just the cost of shampoo and conditioner. |
( $0 ) . . . I do all four of my pups myself ! The thought of paying someone else that kind of money to do something that I can do myself is ridiculous. With some research on u-tube and trial and error, over time I have done very well. I let my sister (groomer) do it one time and I was no happy at all. She has since allowed me the use of her expensive grooming sheers any time I need. |
Our groomer charges us $15 dollars a dog, but we do give her a $5 tip per dog since we've known her for 30 years. My girls love going to groomer and dance in the morning when they go every two weeks. (they have long coats) I don't know if she charges everyone the same price. I know if you put up a contract, (oral contract) that you'll bring your dog every two weeks or every week she brings the price down. |
Oh, but if there is matting then she charges more. I don't know the rate, but it's a certain amount per hour it takes to demat. My girls never have mats, so I only know this from overhearing her with another customer. (I brush them everyday, the brush is now their sworn enemy) |
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pol...ml#post3804900 I thought this question might make a good poll. :) |
