| Top of nose Does everyone get the top of their yorkies nose trimmed? Both groomers I have gone to say that it is standard for the top of the nose to be shaven. I dont know if I like it tho seems weird... does anyone do this? pictures??

| Mine both have just the bridge of their noses shaved. I went to a new groomer last time, and he shaved from the bridge to the nose and I hated it. Especially on Marley (shorkie). Marley looked like a baboon. I wish I had never started trimming them when they were puppies, so they could have top knots. |

| The hair on the bridge of the nose is usually shaved or trimmed in puppy cuts, but if you want to grow it long, then make sure you tell them you want it left alone. It shouldn't be cut all the way to the nose though. If you check my album Harley has had his both ways. When I was growing it out he had horrible tear stains, but that can be taken care of.

| One thing too, is if you want to grow it out the Petsilk Topknot Gel helps a lot to keep the hair out of their eyes until it gets long.
