Donating YT 500 Club Member | Question clipping around eye area As you can see from this photo Zoe has hair that strays around her eye area. I've tried bows and topknots, still working on them. but she's got her first grooming coming up and I wanted to know if I should have them trim around her face?? | It really depends on what you are going to want to do in the long term. If you trim the hair it's going to need to be trimmed on a regular schedule or it will grow into the eye and possibly cause infection...definitely irritation. Some groomers will use a clipper along the bridge of the nose to give the face a cleaner look, but the shorter hair is very stiff as it grows back towrds the eye. If you would rather have them in the topknot you can use the small grooming bands to hold the unruly hairs together and make them manageable.
