Topknot Bands
 
I've tried the soft ponytail holders but my girls pull them out within 5 minutes. I buy latex-free grooming bands from a seller on ebay;
500 Latex-Free Dog Grooming Bands - CLEAR, 3/16" - eBay (item 250265066278 end time Jul-29-08 19:56:38 PDT)

The 3/16 size is what I use. I also have their band snip scissors. Best grooming bands I've ever used! The topknot hair doesn't get tangled around these bands at all therefore doesn't pull any hair out.

I go to walmart and buy the little girls ponytail bands. They are alot softer and hair doesn't come out. They are about $2 for 10.;)

I will give these a try. I having been trying the soft cloth ponies, and while they dont seem to take any hair out, pebbles just takes them out within 30 min to an hour.. so lately shes bene going "wild" for most of the day, with her hair hanging over her face--very crazy looking LoL :p

I have tried so many kinds from so many places. :rolleyes:

The ones that I like the best and have had the best experience with are the ones from Tiger's Mom at Go Fetch. They are stretchier and don't seem to stick like other's do. I always cut the band off, too.:)

those are the ones I use too. i wonder if they have latex in them or not

Thank you Erin for the great bands and bows! I got them right away, I just kept forgetting to come on here and tell you. Before it was so hard to get Gabby to sit still to put bands or bows in, so with these I have been doing it just every couple days to get her use to them. The first day I didn't put them in tight enough and she was able to pull them out! Thank you for the great service! And thank you for the treat! It was a great surprise and Gabby loved it! I broke it up and gave her a little piece everyday =)

Aww thanks! I'm glad they are working. I love those bands - I was even showing them to Sammy's groomer today. I've found that if I use a little less hair in the topknot Sam is more likely to leave them in. It must not pull as much. I also loosen them just the tiniest bit when I'm done so they don't pull tight. I hope she gets used to wearing them! They look so cute with their little ponytails. :D
