How often does your furbaby have a BATH? How often do u give your little furbaby a bath? Bailey has one once a week and he HATES it!! He hates water is there anything i can do to make him like it or not try and jump out all the time? :aimeeyork |
When I first got my two I was bathing them every other week if not every week. I think that's excessive — Ruthie's skin was so dry. Now I give them baths when they need them. It might be every other week, it could be once a month. I find in the winter I don't bathe them nearly as often as the summer. |
Hello I Usually bathe my babies once or twice a week, and they seem fine. They Love it, especially when they know theyre gettting a special treat hugs and kisses!:animal36 |
Once a week ... every Saturday ... ;) |
once a week unless i take her to the beach and then i have to bathe her |
Bud get's his bath every other Sat. |
Pixie every 2-3 weeks, the others every 4 weeks. |
Once a week. |
Once a week , unless we go to the beach..:D Do you bath in in your bath tub , if so get one of the little rubber mats for the bottom of the bath so he does not slip. Do his head last and try a little jug of luke warm water for wetting and rinsing. Happy bathing.:aimeeyork |
Chloe gets a bath every Saturday. Now that she knows that they're inevitable, I think she might be starting to actually enjoy them. |
We try and do Wrigley every week or two at the most because she's gets oily looking! Our new girl Camden I think has a dryer skin, so we might not bathe her as often! Crosley is a Yorkie Poo and can go a little longer too! |
Once every week to a week and a half, unless we go to the beach as well, but I'm starting only to take them to the beach only right before they get their bath. |
i do mine every week as she seems to get sticky stuff around her mouth constantly! lol |
Mia gets a bath once a week. By about the 5th or 6th day she really needs it! |
Yeah mine definitely need a bath about once a week. We do go for daily walks and to the dog park though. That might contribute to their stinkyness. Frankin and Maggie both really enjoy baths at my mom's house because she has a handheld sprayer. I've found that as long as you keep the warm water on them at all times, they don't get cold and the spray makes it feel kind of like a massage. Mine still try to escape but it is SO much easier now. |
Every 1-2 weeks. Every night before bed she gets her hair brushed, face washed/paws cleaned and her teeth brushed. |
Pixie has a bath about once a week, she's not too happy about it but she's pretty good considering...sometimes, especially if the weather is particularly cold and because she's a tiny girl, i might leave it a week and a half or 2 weeks and just give her face & bottom washes with baby bath in a little bowl...works quite well.;) |
Friday night is bath night for Koda & Kammie! |
Once a week over the weekend and which ever day, I have more time. |
Barclay loves his bath. He actually puts his face right under the faucet!!! I still can't get over how different he looks wet!!! Totally different Barclay!!! My daughter and I give him a bath once a week, usually on Sunday night. Right after bath, he sits up on my lap, chews his bone while I brush him while we watch desperrate housewives together. He loves it as much as I do!!!:D |
once a week every sunday and never had any problems!;) |
Sebastian gets a bath once a week. He used to hate it but now doesn't mind. Of course, he gets a treat afterward!:) |
2 proper baths a week - shampoo, conditioner, ears, teeth, nails. Plus 1 water-only bath once a week. So three times a week I guess. They get their hair trimmed and bottoms shaved once a month. |
I bathe Bear two times a week ... his hair gets greasy really quickly, so I have to bathe him a lot, lol. Plus he likes to step in his poop too  I think he does this because I'm pretty sure I got him from a bad breeder :( What\'s done is done, but he sure doesn\'t have a problem stepping in his poop or his urine! It makes me think that he was forced to be in a crate & forced to pee & poop in there. He HATES baths though, but he\'s only nine weeks, so hopefully since I have to bathe him so much he\'ll get used to it & eventually love it! Amy |
I bathe my two every 10 days or so. But each evening after dinner, they get their faces rinsed with soap and water and paws washed. :aimeeyork |
For Joey it\'s once a week too. I saw a vet on the Oprah show who insisted that dogs should get no more than 2-3 baths a year, and that it was really bad for their skin. I have read this about certain breeds, but I couldn\'t believe he was lumping all breeds together. Apparently, he\'s never owned a yorkie. |
yep Gracie gets one once a week too! she HATES them too!! but shes so little that I can just hold her with one hand and wash her with the other... |
Mine difinitely gets them once a week:lol tears. The two youngsters hate there baths, but the rest of them all seem to enjoy bathing. We live in Oregon and they are always out in the rain. They come in from a potty brake looking like a mess:animal36 Our plan for the day is: Let the dog out:yay_jump::woof: Let the dog in::cheer::ghug: |
My Emma gets a bath about once a week. She doesnt really care for it much but I\'m hoping she learns to enjoy it a little more. We bathe in the kitchen sink with no running water. We fill one side with her clean warm bath water and put her in the other and use a plastic cup to dip and pour water. She tries to eat the water if you spray her. She turns to a Rottweiler. The groomer put "Tiger" on her card because she makes them laugh barking at the sprayer. And she would much rather run and dry herself than to be dried with a blow dryer. She\'s hilarious but even with all her antics it just doesnt take more than 5 minutes to bathe her. |
Meeko gets a bath once a week. When I first got him he\'d tried to jump out a lot or put his 2 front paw on the edge and there\'d be a huge puddle after. So I started sitting on the edge of the tub with my feet in and he was a little better but, stilled tried and there was still a puddle. Then i read a poster than said she brought her baby in the shower with her, so I tried it and it works great. I shampoo him, and then my hair. Rinse him, and rinse mine. While I\'m shampooing or rinsing my hair, I tell him to sit and he sits and waits. It\'s 110% better. Washing him is so easy now! He actually got a bath today. I turned the water on and went into my room to grab my towel and he had already jumped in the tub. lol He still doesn\'t like water on face. So I have to be real quick when I rinse his face. |
