bows in boys hair?
 
how many of my fellow YTers put bows in their boys' hair?? my bf keeps telling me that it's too girly, but i really want to grow out the hair on Kash's head and tie it up... i don't even necessarily need to use a bow. i would be satisfied with just a hair tie/rubber band thingy. but apparently, that's still too girly?

oh and can i see pictures too??

We have started putting bows in Reggie's hair. Reese has never worn bows.

Show BF...pictures of show yorkies...ALL of them have topknots. Tell him...it's the Steven Segal look. ;)

I don't have any pics handy at the moment, but Slade does get bows in his hair!

I've tried it several times, but my boys want no part of it. They immediately paw at it, rub their heads on the floor, and generally go crazy!

But I love the look. It's how a yorkie is supposed to look. :)

My 3 (1 girl & 2 boys) just wear ponytails as I can't stand their hair in their eyes:)

coco has long hair and i use clips (boy colors only, of course ;)). i bought them from Target and they are Goody's "contour clips." i prefer them over bows.

this isn't a very clear picture but you can see the clip. :)

My DD's (14 & 8) feel that our puppy (10 months) must have a bow in his hair. We did find that people thought the was a girl if our bow was plain. So, I made some very boy looking bows and top knot bands. I went to the craft strore and found very "boy looking" buttons: fire trucks, sports ball, etc. I took my DS with me to help me pick them out. I then created a few hair bows with some matching ribbons. The others I just attach to the band of his top knot... I hope this make since.

I attached a pic of his bow with a dalmation on it.

i Do sometimes... and my hubby always say : "Dont put a bow in his hair or rubberband, its a boy not a girl... because of you Snickers is in an Identy CRISIS "

The clip looks really good. I may try that ....maybe they'll tolerate that a little better.:aimeeyork

I sell tons of boy bows!

I think the key is a really masculine bow. One of my most popular boy bows is a football bow in team colors. That will usually win a skeptical BF or hubby over!

i make my boys wear bows. they do wear little boy bows. so just get them boy ones. they make them everywhere! i get mine from someone on YT
