NO I just remembered when mary asked about stands. I think it's a good investment because sometimes I want to do things with my hair and could use and extra hand. It looks pretty strong because it's metal and not plastic. Plus you can adjust it pretty good in height.

I have a small stand dryer a bit like the Andis, but it is not really tall enough when the fluff is standing on a grooming turntable. I've just found the "human" one on a Brit website and I'm so thrilled... even though it's only buy one get one... we hardly ever have any of the great products you talk about on this site. I'm off to get my credit card

That looks like it would be perfect, but with the weight of the dryer at the top I wonder how stable it really is. Not sure how many different angles you could set it without it tumbling over. Does anyone have this and likes it?

Here is a site for some similiar to the ones above. They may be a bit more sturdy because they clamp to the table, wouldn't have to worry about tipping over. If one could buy the clamp and use them with the 'buy 1 get 1 free, then that would be a good deal.

I think it should be fine. The base is supposed to be a heavish base.

I have this!!! I had a stand dryer I found in the classifieds and I actually hated it. I used it maybe a handfull of times then decided it took up way to much room and was to freaken big for me (personal preference). So I found that stand at Sally's and have used it ever since. I LOVE it. The height adjusts from pretty short to pretty tall. I put it on the edge of the grooming table point it where I want it to blow and BAM (just like Emril) she's done. No leaving the dryer on for another 15 min. for it to cool off.. nothing!!! Matter of fact I may go and get another to take on the road with me. Just thought I would add my 2 cents.
