Where can I get elastic bands?? Like the smallest you can get. I wish I could get the ones that my daughter had on her braces years ago. They would be perfect!:D |
I got some today at Wal-Mart in the baby section, not sure how good they are yet. You can also get them at beauty supply place. |
These are the latex bands from Woodpecker's. They are great and don't cut the hair like a rubber band would. They are about $10 for 1,000 bands. When you are ready to remove one from a top knot, be sure to cut it with tiny scissors rather than trying to unwind the band. This also cuts down on hair loss and/or damage. Store them in the refrigerator to prolong the shelf life of latex. Hope that this helps! http://www.dogshowpro.com/asp/produc...rchFor=&PT_ID= |

I got it from beauty supplies store. Many colors, work really well, will not catch hair. Jen :aimeeyork :animal-pa :rose: |
Many grocery stores and dollar stores now carry them. They don't cost much. |

http://stores.ebay.com/Fantastic-Ela...-FREE-SHIPPING I order the small ones like for braces. Fast shipper too. |
I swear by the bands that Des (Tiger's Mom) sells. They are fairly small and don't tear any hair out at all and are easily unwindable when you take it out. |
Thanks everyone (replies YAY!):D  I will check them all out. Quote:
Thanks again.:) |

Nevermind. Found it!:D |
Now, question is, what size do I get? Penny will be 4 mos on 4/7.( She hasn't hit 3 lbs. yet) She does not have enough hair for a topknot. I can barely get enough hair between my fingers. I just want to get something in her hair so she will get used to bows and such. If I don't get her used to it in advance I might as well forget it. So what size would at least stay in. Even if I have to wait another month or so at least I will have them.:) |

Ok, Thanks.:) |
I bought the wrong size on Ebay....still dont know what size is best... My nails cannot even get into the ones I ordered.....so I am of no help.....I need to know the best size too.... |
http://www.mygofetch.com/ I love the bands Des has at gofetch They stretch alot - easier to wrap around hair - i wrap them 3 times - I cut them out of the hair - less hair breakage! http://www.mygofetch.com/ |
Thanks. Am checking the site.:) |
I got the groomers coated bands from jefferspet.com...very cheap for a bag of 100..I think it was like .99. |
Thank you, I'll check there also.:) |
I use the bands from Go Fetch also, previously used orthodontic bands but they broke her hair off or pulled it out. Des's bands work great, I'm not seeing bands on the floor with hair knoted in them:) |
Yes, I've been scouting websites. It is so hard because I am not sure of size. So it is harder buying from a site. But Des is helping me with some things. I just hate to buy something and pay shipping(and thru my own fault bought the wrong thing) and have to do it all over again. But on the upside, Penny is just 3 mos. (4/7) so she will grow into whatever I get. :D |
Just ordered Penny's bands and mini clips from Des at gofetch. I can't wait . Her mini clip barrette is red. She looks sooo good in red!:D Thanks for all the inputs. I checked them all out.:) |
