I have a question on the ear plucking......so am I correct in understanding that you are just plucking the hair out with your fingers??????? Are you pulling hard? What is the powder for....does it make the hair come out easier or what? And yes.........I'd love to know a safe and effective way to trim their nails without worrying about clipping too short. This is great. I have been looking into finding a groomer for my two babies. Most of the ones around here do not stay in busienss long and makes a person wonder why. There is a petsmart about 45 minutes away and we have gone to view them grooming the dogs. My husband said absolutly not-the babies are not going there they are to rough. A couple of the locals we popped in on are the same very rough, not very clean, and just not a good feeling about it and "over protective daddy" isn't leaving the babies with them. This will is very helpful in getting someone started. Thanks |
Thank you so much for the videos. I just so happened to trim Mia's hair around her face today and I was scared to death to do it. I was afraid I'd nip her. You did a wonderful job and your baby was such a wonderful model. You made it look easy. I know it's not that easy, but I'm going to go purchase some trimmers and try myself. I think, going to be groomed, would be so tramatic for Mia, so I've been putting it off. Again thank you very much.:thankyou2 |
another video I also made a video: "How to Groom Your Pet Yorkie at Home". It is 2 hours, 2 minutes long. It explains in very detailed, simple to understand, common sense ways to care for your yorkies coat at home. It is made for the at home pet owner who knows nothing about grooming. It covers nail trimming, foot pad shaving, ear hair plucking and ear canal cleaning, how to trim out the eye corners between the eyes, how to clip the sanitary area, how to tip the ears. I show 3 different hair styles for the body (long to the floor "traditional" look, puppy cut, and schnauzer type "personality" clip) and a few different head styles. How to put up the top knot, and a newer style of topknot that will really stay in, and a rounded cute "teddybear" face and head style. I show how to empty the anal glands, and show the bathing and drying. |
