I go to a dog park In Ridgewood, NJ. What I like is that one area is enclosed for small dogs and another area for large dogs. I have met lots of really nice caring people and my dogs have a good time there. Below are the directions. Ridgewood Wild Duck Pond. 2 separate, fenced-in area, 1 for "large", one for "small" dogs. Park hours apply, also parking restrictions as per signs. Location: East Ridgewood Ave. Directions: Rt. 17 to Ridgewood Ave. toward Ridgewood. Duck Pond is on the right, after traffic light at Paramus Rd. Dog areas are in the back, right off the drive-around. |
I started to go to dog parks with Maxi once he got 6 months old. I live in Staten Island and fortunately we have at least 2 parks that have dog runs :) I had to research and stuff cause I moved to SI just few years ago. Few times I came with Maxi there were a lot of big dogs running around so I put him to a smaller area fenced off for little guys to run around. In a few minutes thou small dogs came in and they were all running around. I think thou that fenced area for small dogs is a little small which I though was not fair. I wanna sign up my little one for a Yorkie meetup so that way he can hang out with other yorkies :) |
Does anyone live in Central Florida/Orlando area that would like to arrange a Yorkie meetup?? My little guy is only 2 pounds and 4 months old, so it is hard to find another puppy for him to play with. He needs a friend!! :) -Courtney & Jacoby |
That is just awful. What park did you go to? I have not yet taken my Max to the dog park yet? I plan to but want to be aware of what to expect. |
