4th Annual "Because your dog is worth it too" Day
 
Just got a flyer in the mail about the 4th Annual "Because your dog is worth it too" Day. its on Saturday, August 18 in Cranbury, NJ. Me and morgan went last year and we had soooo much fun, plus we met a couple members from here and the NYC yorkie play group.

Looks FUN! I want to go! How far is this from NYC, I wonder? Looks like it's worth the trip! Hopefully Mickey will get over his motion sickness by then... We are practicing the car everyday! ;)

well i live about 15 minutes from the city and cranbury is about an hour from here. It was worth the drive. We had so much fun and got so many things.

I will be visiting family in nj this Aug. so this is perfect timing. my babies and I will have to be there:)

Thank you :thumbup: for posting this my friend and i another YTalker might be going to this it's only 1hr and something minutes away from us and it sounds like fun. I cant go on the website from work but will definetly check it out at home. Maybee we should make another thread when the day is near so we can all meet together.

i'll definately post when it get sooner. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up now so that you can pre-register if you want. i did last year and got a goodie bag full of stuff for me and morgan. we still have the toys

I am so glad you posted this!!! :thumbup: :thumbup: I looked on the website and it should only take me about 30-40 minutes!!! I think I am definitely going with Diamond, maybe I can get the boyfriend to go :rolleyes:

i'm dragging the bf whether he wants to go or not. I need more hands to carry stuff. by the end of the day last year morgan was walking on leash because her carrier was full and both my hands were full! :D

I went about 2 yrs ago and it was fun. Plenty to see, free stuff. Bubba jumped into the pool with the big dogs:eek: and was a mess when I finally got him out. I hope to go this year but it said something about "walk with 1 dog on a leash". I have 2 and don't want to leave 1 home. I usually walk both with a splitter. Forget about suggesting hubby go!

Hello all,

We went last year and had a BLAST!! I can't wait to go this year!!! We got so many nice things and there was so much to do!!!

We should all definitly meet up this year! :D

yeah now that there are more of us aware of this day we should all definately meet up somewhere.

yup. when the date gets closer we will come up with a meeting place. i remember the things they had last year so hopefully they will be the same this year and we'll come up with a noticable place to meet

what id we wore something that said YT on it then evryone would know who is who and in case we end up missing the meet up spot/ justa thought.:rolleyes:

That's a good idea for most people. I was thinking about it, however my boyfriend said he would not walk around with me if either the dog or I had something like that on. he says i spend way too much time here LOL
