I am not from the area but I think I saw Puppy Petite last night on an episode of Run's house on MTV and I wanted to cry. They look so sad in there and it looks like a puppy mill to me. |
welcome to yt. hopefully you can find a baby soon !! |

Natalie, I read in one of your replies that you have reconsidered Puppy Petite and I am glad. My BF got my zoe form Puppy Boutique which I guess is the same place and Zoe developed severe luxating patella that needed immediate surgery. They paid for it but asked me if I wanted to return my pup for a refund. HELLO? Return my pup or exchange him? Are you kidding? I love my baby boy I'm not going to exchange him! It was just alot of he said she said but they ended up paying for it ONLY because he was undeer a year old so imagine...my pup was neutered at 7 months, went under again for knee surgery at 8 months and till this day is still recovering. I love my zoe to death and would not change him for any other dog but I would not reccomend them to anybody else. |
saw the site before think prices were expensive i got my yorkie on greenfieldpuppies.com but all the dogs are from lancaster, pa you can try blueriverpuppies also great place also in PA tho but the lady from there is great she takes good care of her puppies |
Puppy Petite And Puppy Boutique Need To Be Put Out Of Business This store should be put out of business. The one year guarantee they advertise is absurd. I traveled all the way to NYC to pick up a puppy that I thought would be the same one that Puppy Petite emailed me a picture of. It wasn't, however I purchased him anyway. Before traveling to NYC, the owner emailed me and told me the prices for their "teacup yorkies" were between $500-$1500; however, they were realistically between $1000-$2500. I purchased my baby for $1600...only for him to die 2 weeks later due to congenital problems. When my puppy initially got sick I took him to the vet and was told he'd have to be hospitalized. I immediately called Puppy Petite to see how they wanted to handle paying for his hospital bill because in their "guarantee" they state that they'll cover all medical expenses if it's due to congenital disorder. Puppy Petite told me that they would not reimburse me unless I took the puppy to one of their vets in NYC. Can you believe they wanted me to bring my puppy 400+ miles to NYC in order for them to cover the vet expenses? My vet estimated the costs to be $2000+ dollars and there was no guarantee that my puppy would survive. Due to the high costs, I chose to have my puppy stabilized and transported to NYC with an IV to Puppy Petite’s vet so they could cover the costs. My puppy eventually died due to a congenital disorder and Puppy Petite refused to give me a new puppy or a full refund for the purchase price. I'm still trying to battle with them to receive a refund. Please do not purchase from this pet store, they have negative ratings from Consumer Reports and have changed their business name a couple of times to stay in business. They are also known as Puppy Boutique. Here is a link to consumer reports about Puppy Boutique, AKA Puppy Petite: Consumer complaints about The Puppy Boutique, Brooklyn, NY |
yorkies I live in brooklyn i never heard of that place i bought my yorkie from world of pets 3 years ago My advise is to shop around Good luck |
Both are bad spots to buy from. Run from both. Read up here and you will see posts of buyers that got burned from both. I have been to both and wouldn't buy from them. Definitely perpetuating the mill cycle. |

No To Puppy Boutique/puppy Petite Please do not get a puppy from that store or for that matter any pet store that sells puppys. I got my puppy from Puppy Petite. She has patella luxation on both her hind legs and her head bobbles. I have learned a big lesson from going to the pet store for a puppy - do not ever buy from a pet store or on the internet. 99% of dogs are from puppymills. There are many rescue sites where you can adopt a dog/puppy. Please be patient and do not rush into getting a puppy without doing research...it is well worth the time... |

No PETSTORES !!! |
I have seen other posts here about puppypetite saying you should NOT buy from them. |
Puppy Petite AKA Puppy Boutique, Brooklyn, NY I'd highly recommend that you purchase your puppy ANYWHERE but there...I can't even explain the nasty situation I've had to deal with because they sold me a sick puppy from a puppy mill in Iowa. The owner doesn't even know what "ethical" means...she thinks being ethical is donating money to people in need! Pathetic! Here's the link to the full dispute: Rip-off Report: PUPPY BOUTIQUE - PUPPY PETITE STORE OPERATING UNDER FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE-RIPP OFF STORE NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS BROOKLYN New York In addition, they have a negative rating with the BBB. |
