| Attention:THE BEST VET IN LONG ISLAND-EVER A little while after I got LaQuita, I took her and Cooky Boy to a local vet in Center Moriches--about 600 dollars later, they told me Cooky needed some tooth extractions and a laundry list of other things that would require 2 more visits and an additional $1200 !! I was mortified but would have happily spent it on my babies..they gave Cooky a vaccine for Lyme disease and then said he tested positive for the disease AFTER vaccinating him with the live virus!! I then did my research and went to Bide A Wee clinic in Westhampton, NY. The girl at the reception was from Canada, and she spent about 2 HOURS with me going over there charts, told me about all the vaccines, which ones were necessary and which were not. She was a sweet heart.. She took the time to answer every question and concern I had. The vets at Bide A Wee and the people that work there truly love animals and care about one thing and one thing only and that is the care of your animal- it is not profit driven. Their only concern is for the health and well being of your animal. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BIDE A WEE. They are truly the best. I can not say enough good things about these wonderful people. |

| Cappucino just got his Lyme Vaccination last night and since then he is so withdrawn. He is not running around as usually, we are forcing him to walk, and he keeps arching his back. Did this happen to your yorkie? We are worried about him and i am waiting for the vet to call me back. He looks so sad and slow!! |
