Photos of Sissy & Angel Road Trip to Myrtle Beach 4 Attachment(s) I will be using several posts to chronical our trip with the girls.... 1. And we're off!! This is how the girls began the road trip in their car seat in the back. 2. After about 15 minutes, Sissy had enough of that and wanted in her console seat. This is her the rest of the drive. 3. Angel enjoying her "business class" seat for the rest of the drive. We stopped after 10 hours in Winston-Salem at a non-pet friendly Days Inn and had to keep shushing the girls when they barked at every little sound (not recommended)!!!!!!! We then got up early and finished the drive. 4. This is the house our son is renting, 6 blocks from the beach |
4 Attachment(s) That evening we took a stroll down to the beach. 1. The girls in their new occupation as Lifeguards 2. With Mom & Dad on Myrtle Beach 3. The giant sandcastle 4. Another perspective of the giant sandcastle |

4 Attachment(s) 4th of July - Mom and Dad started out on Myrtle Beach alone for a few hours of sunbathing (dogs not allowed between 8:00am & 5:00pm), then we met up with Antionette (YTer - Artie Merlino), Chris, Artie, Abigail and Tiffany at the dog park!!!!!! Later that night we watched the fireworks through the bedroom window. The girls barked at the initial "boom" but then watched right along with us!!! 1. The 2nd Avenue Pier 2. Myrtle Beach 3. & 4. Our doggie playdate; Tiffany, Artie, Angel, Sissy & Abigail |
4 Attachment(s) Forgot to mention that we also shopped at Broadway on the Beach and took our son and his girlfriend out to dinner and a movie Tuesday night. Our final day was a hot one, so the hubby and I spent a couple hours on the beach sunbathing in the morning, then we shopped again with our son while the girls stayed home. These are some random photos.... 1. Angel getting ready for the playdate 2. Cory, Liz and the girls resting while at the Hammock shops 3. A house that I really liked 4. Me and the girls |

The new "Sail Boat Bridge" in Toledo (this is new technology, but really freaky if you are in the outside lane with only a thin guard rail separating you from below) 3. Sissy had enough of her car seat during the last hour. This is her "are we there yet" look 4. Me and Cory before we left Hope you enjoyed our travels!!!! |

One little commentary - taking your gorgeous new silk leashes (by ChattiesMom) to the ocean is NOT a good idea!!!! But they cleaned up very well and still look great!!! |
It looks like you had a terrific vacation-- filled with sun and surf and SHOPPING! The girls look fantastic -- and you and your hubby are a very cute couple. Phoey -- you weren't but a couple of hours (well maybe 4 or 5) from Rome -- sure would have loved to hugged your neck! I pm'd you about the harnesses :) |

It was really fun. I actually met Antionette, Chris and the pups when I had a very quick visit with Cory in January. We were at the park eating lunnch before going to the airport. There were tons of folks out walking dogs and I spotted this couple with Yorkies. When they got close to us, you know I was over talking to them and since I always mention YT - Antionette and I were shocked to find we had already chatted several times!!! So, I knew I wanted to get together again with her, especially since we were bringing the girls with us!! |

What a wonderful story with pictures. You did a fantastic job. The girls looked like they had a wonderful time and I love all their beautiful clothes. I bet they loved that beach for sure and it looks like such a clean beach too. Ours is always full of seaweed. I was born and raised in Charleston WV. close to the Kanawha River at that. Your son is so handsome and his girlfriend is just beautiful. I truly enjoyed looking at all those beautiful pictures. Oh, and a big WOW at that home you love. Me too. :D Wonder how much something like that would sell for? |
Wow Jodie! Those were great pictures...I felt like I was on the trip with you! The girls look lovely, as always! Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures!! |
Thanks so much for sharing your pictures and telling us about each one. Looks like a wonderful time was had by all...I LOVE the beach and Murfee loves trying to catch seagulls:D My one comment is...I cannot believe that you have a grown son. My gosh you look barely grown yourself!!!! Patty |
Great pictures. I love the lifeguard one with the sand on their faces. Glad you had a great time. We will probably be taking a car trip with Conner from CT to FL. We are really looking forward to it and think Conner will be a great traveler. |
