I thought it was about time for one of my lighter threads again !!!! :D

Where have you been on an outing with your Yorkshire Terrier lately ?

Friday, 28th April, 2007 Outing

I have taken my three babies, Tara, Casper, and Tammy to Loch Ness in my wee Mini 1000 to see the Loch Ness Monster....7 miles from my house in the Highlands of Scotland !

I then took my three babies in my Mini to Culloden Moor - site of the Culloden Battlefield where Bonny Prince Charlie fought the English in 1746.....which is 5 miles from my house !

We wiz jumpin' though the heather wi' oor kilts on and flappin' in the wind, an' oor bagpeeps blarin' an the dogs a woofin' !!! :rolleyes:

Hey Debra..I think I see the monster peekin' at ya in that first picture. I KNOW I can't top those pictures. Murfee and I went to a yorkie meet up at a dog park in Denton...about 20 minutes from here. It was a local group and he went to Lane Bryant...a clothing store...and Mardels...a book store. Not quite as much fun as LochNess though.. By the way, love your (ex) mini:) see why you are sad.

We were on a beautiful river cruise today with crab cake lunch and life music!
Mitzi enjoyed every minute of it...

Yep, life stinks sometimes ! If I wasn't unwell I'd still have my champaigne baby !!! I would always get some looks off people when driving her, and even more when they saw the tiny dogs to match !!!!
One day I shall get my fourth Mini, this time with comfortable seats !!! :thumbup:

Oh....and I thought I saw the monster for half a second, but it was a log.....bummer !!! :rolleyes:

We went and ran in the park today and yesterday we went to a yorkie meetup/bday party. They are coming to Florida with me though, so lots of swimming at the beach and pool :D And also to Puerto Rico :D :D :D I'm sure Teddy will be chasing the chickens

My husband has wanted a mini is whole life. Here in the states they have a "new" mini but he wants the kind like you have. Do they still make them new there? That is so cool that you live so close to Loch Ness. Your babies are adorable!!

Wow! None of the places we've been lately compare to traveling around Scotland or taking a cruise!!!

Great pics, and umm, we are a little jealous:rolleyes:

Although, we do leave Friday for vacation...perhaps I'll have outing pics to post when we get back.

We three visited our 14 acres of land today---can't wait till we start building!

1) Yay--car ride!
2) This land has been tested and approved by 1 Milo Murphy
3) So many smells, so little time
4) It's all ours.........

They don't make Minis anymore since BMW took over the name in 2000, but you can buy a new heritage shell and make one up from scratch ! My one was 1980. Here she is again at Loch Ness last Friday evening with me and the Yorkies inside, while Kenny took the pics, lol :)
I must admit we take our beautiful scenery forgranted until visitors from other countries come and stop us in the street and tell us it's the most beautiful place they have ever seen ! Yes, we are very lucky ! :D

Today we went in the car to return a video, then we went to Wilcox Park where we saw our first yorkie-poo. Conner wanted to take him home!!

Thanks! we actually got it from a friend, it's a hand-me-down and carried already several skin babies... :D

We were outdoors today. But our little girl has taken many trips. We have taken her to South Dakota, Colorado, and Minneapolis a couple times. She is a traveling dog! In her almost six years, she has put on the miles. Love to travel and have a great Yorkie day!:aimeeyork

Where is ON ? My gran was from Nebraska, moved to Alberta, married a Scotsman, had three kids, Mum was the youngest, moved to Scotland as my Grandfather got cancer and wanted to die at home, and my Mum was 9 when she came to Scotland to live, marry a Scotsman here and have three kids, me being the middle ! So I have relatives all over Canada and the US !!! :D What does that make me ? Too confusing, hee hee ! :D

Ontario is Southeastern Canada...right above New York. Most of our known relatives aren't far from us (there's TONS of us lol), but I do know that there's some in New York, too.

Renwick's the last name. Also related to a lot of McAdams'.

Not too many Renwicks over here. All the one's we know of are relatives lol

WOW ! I am sure we have relies there too:) My mum has done a family tree....and we have Leeson Hathaway Bird and many more. Most of my relatives are in the West of Canada, and some in the US.....Who is the Scottish parent - Mom or Dad ? :thumbup:

I took Priness to Richmond Canada with me and my family yesterday :) I tried to bring her into some malls but they wouldn't allow dogs :mad: so I felt bad and after eating at a Sushi Restaurant, I snuck a little piece for her to eat :p

Quite right too ! My hubby, Kenny laughs at me for filling my hand bag with tissue filled with chicken, bacon, steak, peas, etc from when we eat out ! He says one day someone will catch me doing it and I'll be embarrised....NO WAY - IT'S FOR MY BABIES !!!! :D

Dad's Scottish, Mom's Irish :rolleyes: (Kelly's the family name, there lol)

I'll look at our family tree thing tomorrow & PM you to tell you where in Scotland we originate from. :) I've always wanted to go to both Ireland & Scotland.

Amazing ! We have Irish in our family that went to the US and then to Canada, and then to Scotland on my mum's side, and then on my Dad's side(Scottish) he has family that went to Canada !

There's TONS of Scottish folk in my area. We have annual Highland games and whatnot in a town called Maxville which is 99% Scottish. TONS of fun, go every year!

Oh great - what happened there....was editing and lost it, lol, but you (puppylovin) got to it and quoted it before it was totally lost hee hee - amazing ! Thought I was seeing things again when I saw that "quick reply" with nothing on it going up on screen, lol....
