*Ada's Avi's* Hello YT'ers! I am back from a long sabbatical, and in the creating mood :). If you would like an avatar, please post two or three pix here of your baby(ies) and I will do my best. Nancy has written an excellent Tut for animated avis, and she is still creating as well. We chatted a bit, and I'm just helping. A few Guidelines for Ada's Avi's: * First come, first servedLooking forward to working with your babies! |
I'm so glad you are going to doing this again. You are really creative, and made some wonderful avatars in the past. Have fun! |
Thanks Nancy! It's been awhile; but, I'll give it a whirl! If it doesn't work out, thank goodness we still have your lovely creations and Tutorial! |
It's such a nice offer. I hope a newbie steps forward so you can help them feel more at home with a new avatar. |
Ooh me please, I'd love a avator. I don't have many pictures at the moment, but I will post a few in a min |
3 Attachment(s) I hope these are ok |
Hi Laura! Cute, CUTE CUTE!! These are fine; but need names. They're both on pink blankies, does that mean they're both girls? Roxy and Coco? |
That's right, they are both girls, called Roxy and coco |
1 Attachment(s) Laura ~ Here are your babies. I like head shots, especially for the smaller avis, to show more of the pup. Thanks for letting me play with them! ggrrrr.... I don't see it! This happened with my last avi thread. Smaller ones won't attach? Anyone know why, or can HAAALP?! |
The way I do it is after I upload it, it will list the link, on the "manage attachments menu" and I open that and copy the address. If you forget to do that, you can click on the little x where the picture is suppose to be, and under "properties" it will give you the web address. Here it is: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...s-laura118.gif. Also, they should wait tell it moves before they try saving it. That's really cute, love the side shot! I think something has to be 100 pixels before it shows up, that's why the regular members avatars don't show, they are only 75 pixels. |
Thanks, Nancy! Was hoping you'd show up and rescue me! LOL I don't even see an X to find properties, though, so will do the link from menu from now on. Yes, aren't Laura's little one's adorable. Smell the puppy breath! |
OK Laura ~ Click Here for your avi. Wait until it starts moving, then right-click and 'save' as a .gif file (very IMPORTANT for animation!) Remember where you put it, and upload to your avatar here. |

I would LOVE an animated avatar :D Do you think you could do one for me? I've tried using Nancy's tutorial, but I just cannot seem to get it :( |
Sure, Michelle! Give me a few pix, with names! |
I love it, but I can't seem to upload it. It said remote file is too large. |

This is what it use to say for non-donating members Quote:
Again, it can never be larger than one of those numbers, not even if the other number way less. Also, some newbies only have one picture and they can't have it 80 pixels even though it's under the file size limit. Now admin may have changed the rules since I last spoke to them about it, but if they have trouble again uploading it, this may be the reason. Does any of that make sense? :D |

I am not completely happy with Laura's so have redone it. |
4 Attachment(s) Thanks!! Here are some pictures. The first two are Couver, the next two Khloe and the last one... both of them :D |
