Jeanie!!! Katie and I are back from a long walk and I just signed on to Yorkietalk. I am so happy to "see" you here. There are so many things that are special about Yorkietalk for me, and you, dear lady, are one of them. When I think of Yorkietalk you and your precloud Tibbe come to mind, and with that brings a warm feeling and a smile. I know home isn't home without your beautiful little boy, but I'm still glad you're there. Before long Tibbe will be back in your arms, dog laughing and anxious to train with you. I can't wait for that day! Please be good to yourself, take care, and get well soon. |

It is wonderful to have you home!! Take it easy, dont over-do it, I think you will notice your strength and vim and vigor returning quicker because of just being "HOME".....and then, when you can manage, precious little Tibbe can join his momma and all will be right with the world around there again!!!! Sooooooooooo glad to have you home, sweet lady! |
I am soooo happy that you are home! I know it takes time to heal but you will be stronger soon and your baby can come home😀 Lots of love, hugs and prayers are being sent your way! |
Jeanie, I am so happy that you are home. Praying that you will get your strength back soon and you can be reunited with your boy. Hugs. |
So glad to hear that you are home. Continued prayers for a complete and speedy recovery and a wonderful reunion with your furbaby. |
Jeanie, it is so wonderful to see you posting. Praying for you to continue gaining strength and heal completely. You take care of yourself and not over do things. Slow and steady...like they say. Hugs to you! |
Sweet Jeanie, I am sending you much love and aloha from Maui, and hope your recovery continues to go well. It must feel so good to be home, and moving toward healing. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers, and I can't wait until we here Tibbe is home also. |
Woweee Welcome back dear Jeanie - you were dearly missed. Don't over do it. Take your time with everything. I posted some videos for you to watch there are somewhere back in this thread. Will you have some at home help until you get your sea legs underneath you so to speak? |
Jeanie, It's true! I am so happy to see you're home! Please take it easy, rest well! Sweet dreams sleeping in your own comfy bed...before you know it, you're precious Tibbe will be joining you soon! |
:D WOOOO HOOOO!!! Welcome Home Jeanie!!! :D Baby steps - loads of rest...small, regular amounts of good food...and as much help as anyone can give you (or you'll accept...!!! :D). Won't be long now 'til you're strong enough to welcome home your little boy :) Soooo happy you're back with us all - love and hugs from Andy + Harry as well :) xxx |
Welcome home, girlie! Sending you tons of hugs x |
I'm starting to get really excited. It won't be long now, Jeanie. Tibbe will know you're not feeling your best, and he will be so happy to be with you. I hope you are feeling a little better today. I know how awful it is to feel nauseous. If you can eat a little bit, try. You have been so brave, really trying so hard to get better, and you will. I'm praying that your pain subsides and that your stomach discomfort gets better faster than the doctor said it would. Please take care of yourself and be well.:getwellso:rose40::lv32:: |
I pray you get your recovery goes smoothly and you will get your strength back as soon as possible. I agree with the others who say that Tibbes will know what your going through and be especially loving. Take care, we all miss you! |
Jeanie I am here thinking of you. It is hot here and no A/C in the house today. A Grrrr My Blackies are panting away! Dara did not even want to go on her walk! I hope that you are starting to feel a bit better. Don't fuss yourself with responding to each individual post on this long thread. Just come on let us know how you are. I am a first class worrier! lol |
Jeanie, So glad you are home and on the mend. Even though I don't post much, I do read a lot of the threads. Your advice is always so heart felt and right on the mark. You will just never know all the yorkie moms, dads and furbabies you have helped. You and Tibbe are in my thoughts and prayers. Get well soon. We have all missed you. |
Haven't had such a good weekend(lots of nausea) but wanted to pop on and thank Veronica(Chibiluv) for all the wonderful, unbelievable things she's done for me and for Tibbe. Since he's running out of his special food, he'll be coming home early and I'm not at all feeling ready physically as I'm still so weak-kneed and nauseated but Home Health will be coming by and helping out - have put them off until tomorrow as I've just not felt up to them yet. But I'm so over the moon to see my little boy but scared to have him here, hoping I'm up to him. He's a force unto himself! But back to Veronica and her willingness to keep him and tend him all this time and caring for his crusty little eyes(which weep and have to be cleaned at least twice a day), to managing his special food and keeping him to getting something that would make him sick with his hair-trigger IBS and keep his MVD at bay. She's managed him so well I couldn't have done any better myself! How do you ever repay someone like that? I will never ever be able to thank her properly for caring for my little sweetheart all this time. When I was sick during prep, she picked him up and tomorrow will bring him back to the groomer where he's going to get his toenails clipped and a very close trim to help in ease of keeping him clean and any hot spots he might develop during the remaining summer! He'll spend the day at the groomer's - a day I badly need to gain another ounce or two of strength - and then I'll pick him up tomorrow night. And he'll get to come home to his home, his den and his own spot on the couch pillow right beside my head. lol - Veronica said he loves to sleep beside her on the pillow! See what I mean? Who else but another Yorkielover/guardian would allow this? Veronica is one in a million!!! I didn't know it but she even left me Voice Mail messages of how he was faring on my home phone answering machine and told me little stories of things he did in them. She also sent me PM's I just got Saturday night and read as I laughed and cried like a nut case sitting her on the couch! His groomer said she will help me load his things into the truck(not looking forward to climbing into that great big vehicle!) and trying to drive it but doc said I can this time and I suspect Tibbe will know we're coming home once we both get in the truck and start it, head toward the road to home. Then into the house and his food and water will be waiting and so will his pillow! I can't wait!!! Thanks to dear, dear Veronica, I've had these days since I got home to just rest and sleep and get better and it's made all the difference. She's truly one of our YT jewels and has fostered other dogs in need in the past and even works with dogs now in her job! It's wonderful to know she was the one caring for him and I never worried a moment about his safely or well being. Thank you, Veronica, more than I can say. I am so thankful to you for seeing us through this awful time and helping us make it through. Without you, I don't know what I would have done. Here's a big huge virtual (((hug))) and Yorkie kisses xoxoxoxox for all you've done - so far and above what anyone could ask. You are a special lady who deserves all the good things in life for being so kind to someone going through a bad time with few other resources. You were a Godsend and I'll never forget what you did for both of us. I know Tibbe will miss you for weeks after he gets home. Hopefully one day we can have a playdate and all meet up again in better times down the road when I can bring lunch and treats for the babies!!! |
Tibbe Bless your heart Veronica for taking such wonderful care of Tibbe and tending to his needs just as his momma does. What you have done has enabled Jeanie to get through the surgery without worrying about her beloved Tibbe's welfare. What an angel you are indeed. Thank you so much!! Jeanie, I feel so bad for you that the nausea is still with you and that it is impeding your recovery. The day at the groomers will be good for Tibbe and making him cooler in the summer heat. You are very brave to drive the big truck to pick up Tibbe from the groomer , but how beautiful will be the reunion with your baby...........you will be on cloud nine and hopefully for the drive home you will feel nothing but joy having him back. The help at home will take care of things you cannot do for Tibbe. So please don't worry. Having your baby home will cheer you up and hasten your recovery. Take it day by day and praying you will feel more yourself very soon. Thoughts and prayers always. Thinking of you and wishing you well sweet Jeanie. Hugs, Dot xxxx |
Jeanie, are you taking anti nausea meds? I have to take them sometimes when I just can't take the vomiting urge and they work really well. Also, maybe you can check into getting some doggie home help. I know there are people that can come to your home and help out with walking and other doggie needs. I really feel your helplessness as it pertains to being able to care for yourself and your little guy. |
I am so glad to hear you are home. That is a major achievement and I hope your strength and stamina return quickly. Hugs |
I will probably never have the opportunity to meet you in person, or Tibbe, but I've heard so many awesome things on here about you I will absolutely enjoy your posts as your healing continues. I would love to be the fly on the wall to see your reunion with Tibbe! Hope his tail wagging won't make you black and blue. God sent you a special Angel to take care of your precious Tibbe. I pray Gods blessings above and beyond measure on her. |
jeanie Sending powerful healing prayers for you jeanie. I am so glad you and Tibbe are home. May the angels minister to you and the peace of the Lord be in your heart. No worries just ask for help so many are willing to help. You are so special to us and I can't wait to hear you are back to feeling strong again. |
Aw, your making me tear up! Thank you Jeanie for trusting me with your baby. He has been the best foster we've ever had. I admit it'll be a bit bittersweet as I've grown quiet fond of the little guy. My 2 have even warmed up to him and treat him like one of the family. I wish I could be there for the reunion too! I was just doing what I do, helping people and animals in need, it's a sickness really, lol. I was happy to help- really. Guess I better get in my last cuddles with the little guy, I'll be waiting to hear how the happy reunion went :D |
Sending positive thoughts Jeannie's way from Canada. |

Jeanie, I am happy to hear Tibbe will be home with his Mom soon! You both will be beyond excited to see each other! I pray your nausea subsides and you will continue to make a complete recovery. Good that you will have home health come and take care of things. It is the most wonderful thing Veronica did for you and Tibbe and I sure won't forget her kindness. Can't wait to hear how your reunion with your sweet Tibbe goes! Take care, my friend. |
I just bet as soon as your angel gets home your engery & strength will return quickly. Your beautiful baby will make you feel so much better. Take care and I pray all this will be behind you soon. 😀 |
dog Just can't wait until you and Tibbe are together. I love the saying I marvel that such small ribs as these can cage such a vast desire to plčase. So true. Dogs just want to please us. It will be so wonderful having your little faithful friend by your side. When you spread as much love as you do it is a blessing to see all that love return to you. Jeanie you are so special. May you heal soon and be back with your Yorkie wisdom for us. |
