I spoke with Jeanie briefly earlier today. She got up and walked a bit. It broke my heart knowing how difficult this surgery has been for her. Like Jeanie, I'm very glad the surgery is behind her. I'm praying that she is soon free from pain and that she recovers quickly.

My computer dies and it has been almost 2 weeks since I have been able to do anything on a computer....I am barely back on now sending prayers and loving thoughts to Jeanie and precious little Tibbe!!

Thank you so much Lisa for calling Jeanie and for the update.
She has been through so much recently over this surgery and now at least the
surgery is done. The recovery will probably be hard for her too but we pray that the pain will be well controlled and that she regains her strength back soon. I hope that all goes well with healing and that she will be able to see her beloved Tibbe before long.

Thanks for the update. I've never had surgery before so I can't even imagine what she is going through, but hope she has a speedy recovery.

So glad her surgery is over, now she can start to recover. Prayers still continue.

I am glad to hear Jeanie is getting up and around even for a little bit. Easy does it and I pray she is recovering completely. May God hear all of our prayers for her.

Surgery is always hard, in my experience. It's good that Jeanie has been up and about a bit already, though. Many hugs and lots of good wishes for a complete and speedy recovery, and a soon reunion with her precious Tibbe!

Grateful for your update Lisa, thank you. I haven't been around much lately but sweet Jeanie and her tibbe have been on my mind- miss Terri too! Don't think n I forgot about you honey ;) - I am so glad to hear that surgery went well and that Tibbe is at Veronica's, what a good loving community :love: I look forward to spending more time here when life calms down just enough. In the meantime, from far away and with less words than are deserved, my love and prayers go out to sweet, sassy, Jeanie and her lovin little man....:tinyheart

Of course you have my continued best wishes for a speedy recovery, but I thought I would just chat with you here, for when you are able to get on line and personally read all your messages.


We had a BRT dock jumping day last weekend and great fun was had by all. Magic and Razzle attended but Dara had to stay home because she was still in heat. Now my hubby managed to get only a few pics and nary a video at all - but a participant did upload some vids but it was to a private group so I can not share them here right yet. I have messaged him via facebook - which to me seems like sending a bottle with a message and throwing it into the sea - hoping it arrives. Apparently if he uploads to a public page I can link them. I hope he does cause they are rather awesome vids of Magic n Razzle.


These two were the stars of the day - well they were the only experienced jumpers lol. Afterwards we had a delish BBQ - with way way too much food as per usual with our group and we stayed until 9pm - a late night for us oldies (smiles).


The second wkend of August some of the group wants to go to Sauble beach which apparently is the longest white sand beach in Canada to do some swimming and walking etc. I think we shall probably go - although I do have some reservations......


This wkend and the first wkend of August Dara is being shown - unfortunately no competition this wkend but in August we will either have 2 or 3 females to compete against.


Dara and I are working to get her ready for Companion Dog obedience title. You know each dog I train is so different. She believe it or not heels great - but standstill for examination is a problem - as is a reliable either sit stay or down stay. Her highness with no apparent reason will sometimes decide she has had enough of staying still - and merrily break her command! That scamp.


Now know that you are constantly in our thoughts n prayers - and when you feel ready please update as you can. Chibiluv and Lisa has let us know a bit - and also Ann. None of us want to inundate you with phone calls this early on in your healing journey.

I had an ear infection and medicine left me out of it and felt I had better not get on the computer.

Oh my Jeanie, you are in my prayers that your recovery will be without too much pain and you will be back to your wonderful self as quick as possible.

Jeanie, I keep hoping and praying for you to get well and for you and Tibbe to be back home together. Even with all that you have been going through, you always reach out to help others with your loving wishes and sage advice and manage to sound cheerful. You've touched many hearts on Yorkietalk, particularly mine. I hope you can tolerate the medicine, that it helps to alleviate your pain, and that you can rest and allow your body to heal. Though many miles separate us all, our common bonds and passions help to bring our hearts together in love and friendship.

Thank you dear Lisa, I am perfectly fine and no biggy to start, just wanted to explain why I had not seen the wonderful thread that you started for Jeanie.

Like others have said, she has touched so many :love::love:that I think we should have a big 'Bull Horn' announcing prayers needed especially for people like her. Ann is always there when things slow down, she is another, like you that we owe so much to here on YT.:)

She seems to be doing pretty darn well, given all that she's been through. It sounds like her pain is managed well...though I think she should be more liberal with pressing that little pain med button ;)! It sounded like she was getting through the expected physical issues with some trial and error, but she is confident she will get there! She sounded SO positive and said that the care she has received from the docs and nurses has just been outstanding. She said she misses Tibbe something terrible, but is trying not to worry about him. For what she's been through, she seems to be doing *great*! :)
