Prayers for My MoM
 
I am asking for prayers for my mom. I am afraid I am losing my best friend. I was going to fly back for Thanksgiving but my Dad called today and wants me to come home sooner as he fears she will not last that long. I am trying to get someone to cover me at work so I can fly home this weekend. I know I have been blessed to have her for so long but I am overwhelmed with the thought of losing the one person who has always had my back even when we disagreed about things. God Bless you Mom I love you and will always treasure the great friendship we have.

I'll sure pray for your mom and your family, Carolyn. Losing one's Mom is just about one of the hardest things we go through in life. She will always be in your heart but we all know that is not the same as having Mom at home where she always has been. I'm so sorry it's coming close to her time to go home and you'll have to go on without her presence here on earth. I pray your remaining time together is blessed and special and I know it will be cherished. God bless you. Be safe on your trip.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. Mothers are so very special. My mom was my best friend, so I know how you are feeling. I'm sending prayers to you and your family. God Bless your sweet mother and may God give her peace.

The hardest thing I have ever had to do was to lose my momma.....it absolutely killed me as we were so very close. There is not a day, that I do not think about her.....and I lost her back in 2002. You will be on my mind and in my prayers, along with your precious little momma, as well as your dad......I am sooooooo very sorry you are going through this......I have often thought the only "good" thing about loosing my precious momma, was that I wont have to go through that gut wrenching heartache again.

Prayers are going for your Mom and for you to get the time together that you need.

Mom's are our special angels, and I'm still adjusting to the loss of mine just 3 months ago.

Thank you all for you kind words and support and god bless all our mothers those who are with us and those who watch over us. My heart goes out to all of you who have lost your mothers.

I am so very sorry Carolyn... I really hope that you can change your travel plans so that you can get home to see your mother. I cant even imagine being away from my family at a time like this. I will keep you in my thought and will pray for you and for your mother.

I am keeping your beloved Mom in my prayers and I hope you get to spend much time with her. My Mom passed in 2008 and she, too was my best friend. Hugs to you and your family.

My heart ached reading your post. I will pray for both of you. A mother's love sustains us throughout our lives, and the love you feel for your mom will forever remain in your heart. I lost my mom thirty eight years ago, and I still miss her so much. Her love remains so powerful to me, and I will always aspire to be the person my mom thought I was. I hope you can share some beautiful moments together, ones that will remain alive in your memory throughout your lifetime. I sense your mom is a very special person; she raised a very caring daughter.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Having a wonderful mother/best friend is such a blessing.

Holidays can be hard when missing a loved one, and I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

My Mom passed away in July and I still have a hard time not being able to pick up the phone and call her whenever I want.

Thank you. I miss our calls whether it was just chatting about the day or a mother daughter therapy session I miss that connection.

Carolyn, I am just seeing this and just wish there was something I could say to help except that I know we all want to with all our hearts.

My Mom and I were like sisters and had such fun. When she died, I too lost my best friend and wondered how my children and I would handle it? It was hard for a time and during that time my husband missed her so much and since he was not as open about how well he respected her when she was alive, I was surprised After a time, I would feel a bet of wind go over me in the house with no windows opening and I wondered if it was a sign. I'll never know in this world but it would have been just like her to check in to see what was going on and since she moved like the speed of wind it would be so appropriate.

I know your memories will be wonderful too and something you will cherish as time goes gets easier for you.

Thank you, I like to think they visit us. The day before my birthday I was sound asleep and I heard my mother call my name just like she would do when she was upstairs and I was downstairs. I called out "what do you want Mom" and then woke up realized where I was and burst into tears because it was so nice to hear her voice. I was thankful I was able to make it home before she passed and even though she was heavily drugged I like to think she knew I was there.

She knew Caroyln !!

I thought about you often during the days surrounding thanksgiving and prayed that you would find some comfort during the holidays. It seems as if Buster Brown stepped up and took care of his mommy, believe me they know just how and when we need them the most.
