Jack(Baby Blessing's Husband) needs prayers Patti (Baby Blessing) called and asked that I put a request for prayers for her husband Jack. Jack had a dental procedure yesterday and had a bad allergic reaction to the antibiotics they put him on. Patti is with him at the Urgent Care and they may have to transfer him to the hospital. Patti would really appreciate your prayers. Thanks |

I just prayed for Jack and will keep praying until he's in the clear. I know Patti must be scared to death right now. It might be better for him to be observed in a hospital after his allergic reaction and likely they'll be starting him on new antibiotics for whatever infection those others were started for. |

Checking in on Jack........how wonderful he was able to get medical care necessary to keep him alive!! Allergic reactions, especially to antibiotics, can easily kill you! Will continue to pray for both Patti and Jack.....please keep us updated......and be sure you get the name of the antibiotic he reacted to! That sounds like a stupid thing to say, but all you have been through today, it is very easy to forget to get that name! |
Patti, I'm so sorry that you and Jack have gone through so much. Jackie told me what happened earlier today; she loves you and is worried about both of you. We are thinking about and praying for both of you. Your strength and faith are really inspiring, and you are such a kind, compassionate person with such a huge capacity to love. Even with all you cope with on a daily basis, you still find time to reach out to others. You are a special person, Patti. I really hope Jack gets better. Be well, Patti and Jack. You have the YorkieTalk prayer warriors praying for both of you, and I believe YT prayers are very powerful. |

I am praying for Patti and Jack. Allergic reactions to antibiotics is so scary (I am allergic to a few of them myself). Hope they can figure out what he will be able to take as an antibiotic. |

I talked to Patti earlier today and Jack was up most of the night, probably due to steroids they gave him at the urgent care. Then I talked to her a little bit ago and she said his rash was still terrible. She was thinking she may need to take him back in. She said to thank everyone for their continued prayers. Thanks |

I just spoke with Patti and she did take Jack back in. They said they had given him the maximum doses of medicines. They told her to flood him with water to help clear the allergen out of his system. Patti is exhausted and will come on and update when she can. She wanted me to thank everyone for the prayers. |
Poor Jack and Patti - they've been through the wringer. Reactions are awful and the medicine they give you to get you through it almost as bad for many people! I'm glad he's going to be okay and praying they both get some sleep though on the steroids that can be hard. |

Patti, Sheila & I are still praying for Jack & Patti. Sheila has to drink a minimum of a quart of water on Entocort. She's had some severe reactions to medications and our hearts go out to Jack. I can well imagine that Patti is exhausted. Rich |

Patti is taking Jack in to his doctor today, as his rash is no better. She really appreciates the continued prayers. |
Patti, There is a ointment cream that is good for allergic rashes and itching…maybe Jack can get that from his doctor as it is a prescription. The one my doctor prescribed was Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP. Just a little goes along way and it helped me greatly. I don't know if he can have this but asking the doctor won't hurt. Oh, forgot to say I have Jack in my prayers. |
