I believe in the power of prayer...amen. |
Hi, Jeanie. Sheila and I can't say it enough-we're so very grateful to Our Lord, that your cancer was contained. God truly answers prayers. Love & Hugs, dear friend. Rich & Sheila |
Jeanie, what great news. So glad they caught it so early. |

dog Jeanie, I am rejoicing in your health! The Lord surrounds you with His comfort and healing power. You are smart in getting a second opinion. Cancer must be handled very aggressively and in your case I thank God they caught it early. That's why mammograms are So important. That is how they caught my cancer and after all the treatment I am here still able to serve the Lord. I pray for wisdom and good decision with what you do next. You want to take whatever measures you must to keep this killer away. You are covered in prayer by all of us who love you! And Tibbe too! |

You're so right-even though it is scary to have the yearly screening mammograms done, finding the disease in the earliest stage is a good incentive to all women to have them done. You can be certain, that everyone will be right here, praying for you, in 5 months when it is time for the repeat. Love & Hugs from Sheila & I. Rich |
I am so happy for you!!! |

Boy, I'll be appreciating those prayers along about that time, I can assure you. It won't be a fun test to have again and wait for the results for sure. Quote:

Yes, that 5 months will probably fly by as time does when you are waiting for something you don't want to do! Early, regular mammograms apparently don't save enough lives to satisfy all those doing current studies and make them worth continuing money wise but they sure make a different in some womens' health! I fear before long, the protocols will be cut and screenings cut by age to later in life and less frequently in all but those w/a personal or family history or positive BRCA gene. Boy, I'll be appreciating those prayers along about that time, I can assure you. It won't be a fun test to have again and wait for the results for sure. Jeanie, You're right, sadly, early screening doesn't save enough lives. Sheila's aunt on her father's side of the family, died of breast cancer, and we believe, that if the protocols change in the future, it is still worth it, for a woman to find a place that offers free screenings, if they can't afford it. We've seen different hospitals in our area, offering free screenings. Yes, the 5 months will fly by, but the power of prayer is amazing. So, you can count on us to continue our prayer.s Love & Hugs, Rich & Sheila |
