I wonder if maybe Jeanie hasn't started radiation? I pray it's not too hard on her but will work it's way to help her beat this terrible disease. Jeanie keep your eye on the fact today is a new day for cancer and they can go about healing in a much more effective way, radiation and the way they can zero in right on the spot is so great. ((((hugs)))) and prayers coming.:heart to |

Sorry I never made in online yesterday as Tibbe was having a day-long tummy bout, usually related to his MVD and IBS. He was retching at first but didn't vomit, his tummy was enlarged but not hard as if he were constipated(he tends to be at times) and he was lethargic. I gave him his nausea medication and by afternoon was syringing sugar-water & putting kibble paste in his mouth and by late evening, he had perked up. He ate on his own about 2 T. kibble soup and wanted more, slept the night through and seems 75% better this morning. Late yesterday afternoon, I gave him some Milk of Magnesia and he had a small stool thought he's still got more to go, though his tummy is closer to normal-looking this morning. Last night he started drinking on his own and even went to the food dish for a bite or two so far today. Watching him closely & we're going to the vet if he doesn't act nearly normal by this afternoon. I'm doing well and feeling good with only a 5 min episode of hurting where the surgery was yesterday but the pain just left. Don't know what that was but it was short in duration. Glad the surgery is 9 days behind me and looking forward now to getting this next 6 weeks over. Waiting to hear when I can see the managing oncologist but I see the radiation oncologist Monday, I think it is. Thanks one more time for all the wonderful prayers and good thoughts and you all's endless support. I never get tired of thanking you one and all. It makes all the difference, trust me! Wish I could give each and every one of you a huge hug and thank you face-to-face. :) |
Jeanie, you and Tibbe are always in my thoughts, prayers, and heart. I'm so sorry that Tibbe has been ill, but I'm grateful that he's starting to feel better. I can't wait until Tibbe is back to himself with all of his dog laughs and training antics. He is such an animated, special little boy, and I love his smile and beautiful face. |
