Yorkieville200 Needs Lots of Good Thoughts/Prayers Please!

Its so nice that you have taken the time to respond to everyone's well wishes. Its such a nice thing to see our members come together in support of one of it own. Some times this place gets me down and I've often stayed away but seeing this thread makes my day. It is such a tearful yet very companionate thread full of love and sadness but makes me smile knowing how much everyone cares. I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayer. Hopefully the surgery can be done and you can be restored to a healthy lifestyle with a new found sense of security.

Thank you so much. I wish I could tell you that today is a little better for Sheila, but she is still so withdrawn. And not eating more than a few bits of food.

I am so grateful for everyone's prayers here in YT for Sheila, that I feel, it is the very least I can do is respond, and thank each member.

Sheila used to be a very active member, but after Sydney died, and many of her friends left this forum, she didn't post very much. At one point, I think it was after Kia died, she actually requested to be removed as a member.

I understand exactly why sometimes this forum gets you down, ad you have stayed away.....Sheila went through that recently, but God bless Ann, Wylies Mom for starting this prayer thread.

I have come to see just how many wonderful members belong to YT.

I read the posts to Sheila, and she gets very teary, that so many people are praying for her.

Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts & prayers.

As much as I hate the idea of Sheila having the surgery, I'll be thankful when she gains enough weight to have it.

Thank you-it's been a rough week, but I'm praying Sheila will get past her grief, and begin to eat better.

Sheila and Rich, I am thinking of you and praying for you. I wanted to let you know how chose my username EarthAngel. My Dad used to carry me when I was an infant and sing the song Earth Angel by the Penguins. My nickname then got shortened over time to Ange (with a long A). After my Dad passed away I got my first computer I chose it as my username in a kind of tribute to my Dad and now for my Mom as she had also passed in 2008.

I am sending you both positive thoughts and I so hope Sheila has had some nourishment.

We love the song Earth Angel. Using it as your username is a very special tribute to your Dad & Mom

We're both so sorry that your parents have both passed away.

Sheila lost her Dad in 1997-he was only 69 and it hit her hard, and 9 months later, she lost her Mom, she was only 67.

Thank you for your continued prayers.

Patti (Baby Blessing) has e-mailed Sheila several times, and Sheila promised Patti that she would try to eat more.

Thank you, Kat, for your continued prayers.

We're seeing her DO on March 17th, and I am going to discuss with him what the pain management doctor suggested-an opiod medication that won't make her Lymphocytic Colitis worse.

I feel, if the pain in her spine could be relieved, she would feel better, and be able to move, and therefore, feel more like eating.

So, I wanted to go back and see who I hadn't posted a personal response for their prayers.

Thank you for praying that Sheila gets stronger, and for brighter days ahead with me.

We will celebrate 40 years of marriage on the 30th of this month.

We had wanted to re-new our wedding vows in our church.

Sadly, that won't happen this year.

But I pray every day, that on our 45th, Sheila will be able to do it.
