Hi, Patti.

Sheila asked me to tell you that talking with you was wonderful. She said you are very dear to her heart.

She's not doing well, at all now. The LC flared very severely due to recent stress.

Her G.I. Doctor is doing his best for her-following the Mayo Clinic protocol.

We're both deeply grateful for your prayers, and everyone here in YT that is praying for her.

Patti, it is very difficult to see her continue to lose weight. And see her in pain. And know, that her doctors cannot prescribe pain medication for her.

So, thank you for lifting me up in prayer, too.

I'm very grateful to Ann for starting this prayer thread for Sheila.

We send our love & hugs, to you & Jack.

You are both always in our prayers.

We are so very greatful for your prayers.

Sheila is in a lot of pain, and the doctors cannot give her anything to ease it.

Her very dear friend, Diane DeeWaard called her the day before yesterday, and they talked a long while, and it seemed to lift her spirits.

They go back a long way, and DD has a very calming effect on Sheila.

Rich, what a small world it really is. Diane DeeWaard made my Bentley his tuxedo a couple years ago for the Valentine's Day Ball at YT! I am glad she and Sheila had a nice talk.

It really is a small world. Diane made all of Sydney & Kia's dresses. Kia was in one on the Valentine's Day Ball's in YT. She was wearing the 1st dress Diane ever made the girls. A beautiful dusty rose lace dress. Sheila has the link in her favorite videos on Youtube.

Sheila donated, all but those dresses to an Auction for a friend of Diane's, whose beautiful little Pom was bitten by a baby rattlesnake, just stepping out her front door.

An entire group joined together and raised a great sum of money to help pay Vet bills. And they all offered so many prayers, and God granted a miracle. The little Pom, not only survived but is beautiful!

Thank you for continuing to keep us in your thoughts & prayers.

Sheila is not doing well. But I believe in miracles.

Was that your little Bentley with Mocha in the 2011 Valentine's Day Ball?

Sheila and I watched it last night-she cries a lot when she watches it, because we lost Kia so suddenly a year ago on the 28th.

And we saw Bentley & Mocha.

Aw, Sheila. Still praying for you and that the doctors can find some way in heck to ease some of your pain. It's just awful that you can't take the pain medication. I can't imagine how you stand it. You must be terribly strong and courageous, lady.

I went to your link of the 2011 VB and yes that is my Bentley with Moka…(ChaCha) Shelly's girl. I saw your Kia there and she sure looked lovely. What a great gesture to do donating for such a wonderful cause and the Pom made it!

You both are held close in prayer. Praying for the doctors to find something to ease the pain and for you, Sheila to gain strength. God Bless!

Thank you so much for continuing to pray for Sheila. The only thing the G.I. Doc said was safe for Sheila was a trigger point injection in her spine, but it didn't provide her any pain relief.

Sheila is an Extradodinary Minister of the Eucharist. She's not active right now, due to being so ill, but her faith sustains her.

She misses being in the Sacristy of our church every morning, setting up for morning mass, serving Our Lord, and she prays hard, to get well and return.

She reminds me, that when she was active, she took Communion to poeple in their homes, nursing homes, hospitals, and they were much sicker, and never complained.

She served at so many funerals, and tells me, "None of us walk this life unscathed".

She gets calls & cards, from people in our church, asking when is their favorite Minister coming back.

She tells them-In God's Time.

She has a song she likes, and some of the words are "I'm strong on the outside, but not all the way through".

I pray she will get well and return.
