| yorkietalkjilly | 09-07-2013 07:40 AM | How sweet! Just saw this on my New Posts. Thank you, sweet ladies! I'm so grateful for you all! Such sweet thoughts here. MADE MY DAY!!!
Well, this surgery wasn't quite as successful as the left eye but I think more might can be done. Remember, that right eye is legally blind with macular damage anyway but at least the paleness is gone! It seems darker, dimmer and a little less crisp in the remaining vision right now but maybe that will clear. I was really depressed over it last night, even took 1/2 a 5 mg. valium about 5:00 pm and it knocked me right out last night so I slept most all evening and woke up at 2:00 a.m. wondering what was going on and kind of disoriented as I'd lost parts of the whole evening! Looked in panic for Tibbe and the little thing was right on my feet on the couch, all curled up in a tiny ball, warm, fuzzy and sound asleep! He'd taken care of himself all evening, put himself "to bed" and I let him outside to potty and we have a lovey-dovey session - you know how they are when you first wake up. So I went to sleep again and woke at 8:30 am today - pretty headachy from that pill.
Tibbe has been a holy-terror this morning! He's on a tear of just living and enjoying feeling good again. Apparently I'm to have no peace today as he's been at me since I woke for something or the other - barking like crazy if he doesn't get an immediate response. He's standing up for his rights! I was gone a good part of yesterday and out a lot of last night so he's asserting himself for make-up attention!!! hahaha. I LOVE it. |
