Off to get ready for eye surgery and thank you my sweet ladies for those prayers! I will be feeling those most at 1:00 pm today!!! Hoping this works and can improve my eyesight - it's so pale and hard to see right now. Please keep the surgeon in your prayers, too. Thank you more than I can say. You all are grand in every way. ♥♥♥ |
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Hope the surgery corrects your eye site. Hope your recovery is quick and the pain subsides quickly. Hugs Jackie |
I am keeping you in my prayers for a successful surgery and may God guide your surgeon's hands. I pray for a complete recovery for you and for Tibbe to get better! |
I hope your surgery goes smoothly Jeanie, praying for healing, sending you get well wishes, many hugs for you & bunches of kisses for Tibbe! |
Prayers for Jeanie's eye surgery to go well and for the doctors performing the surgery. I'm sorry to hear Tibbe may have hurt himself. Prayers for him, too. |
Praying all went well! And a speedy recovery... |
Praying for a speedy recovery!!! We will all be checking back to see how you & little T are doing!! |
Surgery went well and vision improved. Leg and back hurting so badly right now. Tibbe is retching. I called the vet and they couldn't see him (was going to get neighbor to take him up) - about to close - said go to ER vet if continues but I'm not supposed to strain tonight! He's active but at 6:21pm and at 7:52 pm he retched. At 6:21 he produced about a tablespoon of yellow bile but nothing this last time. He's alert, will bark if I say "gargage truck" or "cat", has no diarrhea but is refusing food. I rubbed 1/8 t. sugar on his gums just now and will give him a cc. or so of Pedialyte in about 30 mins. Why do they always get sick Friday evening or when the vet isn't in? Hoping I don't have to take him to the ER but with this eye surgery and back injury, trying to hold off getting him up into the truck and getting myself in there and off the vet if we don't have to go. He ate breakfast just fine this morning and ate some more kibble from his bowl after that so don't know what is going on. Thank you so much for all your wonderful prayers and thoughts and so far they are working wonders for my left eye - now please could you say some for little Tibbe? I hope he just ate something outside he shouldn't have or has a little bug but watching him closely in case his gums get funky or his temp comes up. It was just about 100.8 an hour or so ago and his respirations normal. Praying that he can make it okay through tonight without having to go in to ER. Thank you so much for being here for us! |
Oh, Jeannie, I'm so relieved about your eye surgery, but I'm so sad that Tibbe isn't feeling well. You have been under so much added stress with your back pain and having your surgery. I hope he is responding to that and that it's nothing more with his stomach. I know in the past you gave Tibbe Pepcid and it made him very sleepy, so I don't know if he could take it now. I'm so sorry you have had to go through all of this. Both you and Tibbe are in my prayers. Please be well, and I pray that Tibbe is, too. |
I am happy to hear the surgery has helped. I will keep you and Tibbe in my prayers. Hopefully he will settle in for the night and feel better in the morning. |

I gave him 1/4 tablet Famotidine 20 mg. at 6:00 pm and at 6:21 pm was when he threw up some bile. I didn't see the tablet or anything white in the product so hopefully most of it had dissolved. He's been asleep since his last retching at 7:52 pm and the bit of sugar I put in his jowl at just after 8. So I'm pleased. He's not feverish or anything. When he next wakes, I'm giving him some Pedialyte just to keep him getting a bit of fluid and if he'll keep that down, following on with some more in 30 mins until he's had about a tablespoon if I can. I'm so hoping he'll sleep most of the night and we won't have to go to the ER vet with my back in this shape and so soon after the eye surgery. Seems every single time I have eye surgery, there is some drastic emergency that happens that night or within a day or so! But the vision is getting clearer and clearer just as the surgeon said it would and I'm astounded at the results and how clear and brilliant everything looks tonight. Wow! It had gotten pretty pale and fuzzy without my knowing it - crept up over some months I guess but now with this procedure, things are bright and crisp again. TV looks like 3-D it is so vibrant and it had been so pale I couldn't stand to watch it hardly lately. Praise God for this eye surgery result and the answer to prayer. Now if it will just stay this way and then Tibbe will go ahead and stop being sick, I'll be very, very blessed. Thanks to all the praying and believing and lovely ladies here, things are looking up if I can just keep Tibbe stable tonight. It's hours until morning so we've a long, long night to get through but maybe we can. I'm going to try to be courageous and not worry so tonight. I'm the worst where he's concerned - just go sick with worry! |
Oh Jeannie, I am just reading all this. I am glad the surgery worked well. I hope you feel 100% soon. I am sending lots of good thoughts and blessings to Tibbe. I hope he feels better tomorrow. That poor little guy. Hugs and puppy kisses |
Good to hear you're doing well. :) While the slightest symptoms can be serious usually they are nothing. This doesn't sound like an energency at all. With a liver compromised, intestinally challenged pup, these symptoms will likely be life long.:( If you want to talk you know where to find me.;) |
dog Oh Jeanne I love you and Tibbe. I am so glad surgery went well and now we must pray little Tibbe back to health. I had to take my Spud in for vomiting, loose stool. I guess he had a stomach bug. Got him on some metrodiazole and a probiotic and now he is all better. He was running a fever also. I hope Tibbe does not have that. Prayers for both of you to get well soon!
