On August 8 , I had my lung surgery but I came back only the 13 . I went from life to death several times . When I came back for good , a nurse forgot to close the side of the bed so I fall over and had a cerebral comotion .

I returned home this morning , I am very weak and very glad to be a ALIVE .

Thank you very much for the prayers and get well thoughts , I really appreciate them and continue to read them .

Going near death brings a new perspective of life for me .

Oh my goodness Gilles! It's so wonderful to have you back with us. It sounds like you've really had a terrible time at the hospital struggling to hold onto LIFE & then to have a nurse who should be looking out for your welfare cause you to harm yourself...just horrible.

I hope that you have some help at home as you're recuperating. Please, take your time. Thanks so very much for popping in to let us know how you're doing. Now, get better, we'll be here whenever you can make it back.

Gilles, I am so sorry you went through all that. Thank God you are alive! I continue to pray for your complete and rapid recovery. I know you are glad to be home, hopefully with your furbabies. I'm sure they missed you terribly. Hugs to you and I'm so happy to see you back.

Yes , my friend Fernand is helping me very much . He took special vacations from work to be sure he would be home for me .

So very thankful that you came through all that you endured! Unbelievable that besides everything else, you fell out of your bed. Bless your heart. I am praying for your total and complete recovery. I hope by now you are feeling so much better!

After a week at home , I am not feeling very well . Sometimes I have difficulty with my breath . The dr said its the left lung that takes time to adjust to the new situation .
