Callie Update! Callie started improving on Saturday, the 22nd...late in the afternoon. By yesterday she was out of oxygen and walking around the ICU at GCVS. Her foster parents came home yesterday and went to see her. We believe she will be discharged today after the cardiologist sees her. Her meds were increased and are at the highest amount that they can give. So, our sweet Callie is on borrowed time; but she has a wonderful foster home and she will be loved until that time comes. |

Sorry to hear this . Thoughts and prayers are with you . |
Good news for me!! My oncologist just called me to tell me that the Oncotype DX test is back and I am at low risk of recurrence. So...no chemo!! She is going to speak with the surgeon about when I can have radiation...it will be up to him since I still have the seroma or whatever this mess is and they cannot start until that is cleared up. All I can say is PHEW! My George and Teddy Bear are doing well and things have been quiet this week. Hopefully the bad streak is over! Thank you so much all of you for your prayers and support through this very trying time in my life. |

Hi Linda, i have not been on YT for a while. I have just finished reading this complete thread and have gone thru so many different emotions. So glad that things are turning around for you. I am so sad to hear about losing your little one but happy about the other pups doing better. I will keep you in my prayers. |
Just checking on you today, Linda, and so glad to hear you woke up without that dread of that chemo looming. Had to be a good feeling and bring a big smile when you first thought of it today. I hate when something is hanging over your head and you wake day after day and are okay as you lie there yawning and stretching until it hits you again - oh, I have to face that. And the day goes to pot from that point on. |
Great news! So happy to hear this Linda! |
I am so happy the dark cloud has lifted, and Linda I wish you all smooth sailing from here on. |

I'm so happy to read some good news for a change. Way to go Linda! |
Linda, I just finished reading this post. This is one of the most emotional posts I've ever read! I am so sorry you've gone through this! You're an amazing woman and I will continue praying for health and well being for you and your babies! |
Went to the doctor yesterday...the mess, while taking it's sweet time, is starting to lessen a bit. At least the pain is now gone! sheesh That hematoma and seroma hurt more than the actual surgery. I will be seeing radiology next week for an evaluation. The surgeon said it will most likely not start until all is cleared up. Thank you again, all of you, for your thoughts and prayers...and kind words. It really has helped a lot to get through all of this. Going to GCVS today with Teddy and George for their follow ups...they both look great to me. Hopefully the specialist will agree. I think they may do an ultrasound on George to see if the pancreas has improved...they had thought there might be a mass. I am thinking he would not be doing so well if that were the case. Positive thinking! :) |
