Oh booo. I'm so so sorry Linda. My stepmom is going through breast cancer right now - her first battle. She's 46. Her mother also had her but my stepmom tested positive for the gene so they immediately did a double mastectomy etc and started on chemo right away. It's not a fun time but they do seem to have so many more options available these days than ever before. Either way, I know there are no words, I know there is nothing I can say to make it better... but I'm here if you ever need to vent or talk or anything. My thoughts are with you right now. :love: Please keep us updated.

Dear linda, I hope I can encourage you to look up to the Lord Jesus. He helped me through breast cancer chemo radiation. He was my refuge and my strength. I know He holds our days and knows all that is going on. He sends ministering angels to help you. Seek Him with your whole heart. Be aggressive with treatment. I had a mastectomy. Life is more than hair housework and boobs. Be positive. You Will see healthy days. Read the psalms in the bible and put your trust in the Lord. I am here with a hospice ministry because of cancer. Jesus will give you peace in the storm . May you be healed. You are in my prayers.

Thank you Brit. Yes, they do have a lot of options, but in many ways it makes the whole thing harder. I am so sorry about your stepmom. :( Hope she is doing ok.

Thank you Ann and thank you for the lovely card. :) It was so nice of you and really made my day...I got it the other day right after my second biopsy. Perfect timing!

I will do whatever treatment I can live with. There are many options and it isn't really a simple choice for me since I already had radiation and that complicates the picture. I am glad that you are happy with your choices. Hope you are doing well.

I had to have a second biopsy...this was on an intra mammary node. Thankfully it was negative.
So, now we are making plans for surgery....just not sure at this point what that will entail. It should be the first or second week of March.

That's awesome the second biopsy came back negative.

Yes, I was pretty concerned that a node might be positive. Definitely relieved by that.

So glad to hear that negative result. Just go the aggressive route with surgery. The dr. Will know how to do that. Pray and know you are being thought of and sent a lot of love.. I live today and don't think about tomorrow. God will take care of that. Be strong and lean on the stronghold Jesus. I know He walks beside us and carried me when I couldn't get off the couch for 8 months.
