Can't believe your Cookie is gone. Bless her heart and yours. I'm so sorry you lost her during this awful time when you are already so distressed. Can't imagine what you've been through. R.I.P, Cookie girl, you are forever loved.

Praying and believing that your surgery will go perfectly. I'll be holding you up in prayer until I read that you are awake and posting again. Try to think thoughts of strength, courage, faith and much hope and rest all you can, dear lady. Let us be tough for you these next few days. Prayer works!

Thank you everyone for your kind words...for your prayers. It has been a difficult time for me, but I do know others who have worse things going on so I try to keep it in perspective.

I did all of my pre admission testing today...so, all set for Wednesday. A bit creeped out because I have things that have to be done that morning before the surgery that are not so pleasant (will spare you all the creepy details).....will be glad when it is over.

I'll make sure to say a prayer for you Linda. Pre-admission is so much fun, eh? I remember going with my mom to it last summer. She particularly enjoyed the big needle where they put in some kind of device used to locate the tumor during surgery. I'll be saying a prayer for good lab results after the surgery too. Good luck Linda, you're awesome and a huge part of why I come to yorkietalk (well, I do like to brag about my yorkie too though, almost caught her second squirrel yesterday :)).

Oh, Chris, you are so sweet. <3

Yes, there is that wire they put in....then they stick you with four needles which I won't detail here because it is totally cringeworthy. I started the begging yesterday for something to relax me for the second one....it all depends on the timing whether they will medicate or not (so they said).

Thank you everyone...I have two great surgeons so will be in good hands. I will be home tomorrow so that's a plus....will have my pups to cuddle with! <3

I am a bit anxious of course, but am glad to be getting this part of it over with.

He is our refuge in the storms of life. He is our strength. Phillippians 4 verse 13 says I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.
I am a breast cancer survivor. Been through surgery chemo radiation no hair horrible side effects. By His grace I am here. Life is more than your hair housework or boobs. You will be so strong helping others. I have a hospice ministry due to my cancer. ALL GLORY and healing goes to my Lord and Savior Jesus. My prayers for you sweet Linda.

I am alive! I am not up to posting much...will in the next day or two. Plans got changed and it was definitely more than I bargained for. They were admitting me, but I begged my way out. LOL I don't do those places. Glad I am home with my pups. My son was with me all day...he just now left to go home but is on 24 hour call for me. So sweet, but I will be ok. He will be here in AM to help me feed the pups.

Glad to hear all is good. I was on pins and needles when the two hour surgery on my mom was dragging out to four hours last summer. Say hi to the pink elephants for me!

I am very happy to see your post! I hope you were able to rest last night, and I hope you will take it easy today.

You crack me up. :D Max gives you 2 paws up for begging your way out. He barked his way out of staying overnight at the vet after surgery.
