Thankful Katie is doing better today, keeping her in my prayers. |
Thank goodness Katie is doing better! Can you visit her over the weekend? Hope so.....it will be a loooooooooooooong weekend if you cant!!!! |
Keeping Katie in my thoughts. I have a kitty too. |
Katie got up and used her litter box on her own, so that's a good sign. We're going to see her in a few hours. Hopefully I can get her to eat a little something. She does have a feeding tube in thankfully because she is not at all interested in eating or drinking. |
Glad she is doing better. Hope improvement continues. |
Great news....will contiunue to pray for your baby! |
I am so glad she is doing better. Good thoughts and blessings |
Glad to hear she is doing better...prayers continue to be sent for her. |
Im am so sorry that your kitty isn't well ! Its hard seeing our loved ones suffering and not knowing if there is anything that can be done to help them. I remember when our 13 yr old cat Sheena was sick and nothing could be done for her. We lost her to liver failure. It was and still is one of the hardest things that I have ever gone through in my life. It was like loosing a member of my family, she was mine and my husband first baby. She is berried in our yard and I think by doing that her spirit has remained here in our home. Which is a big comfort to me ! |
I get to bring Katie home tomorrow!!!! She is still very sick, but she's on the mend. They had to surgically implant a feeding tube in her neck. We'll have to syringe feed her through it for a while, but she should fully recover! I'll be picking her up on my way home from work tomorrow. Yay! |
Oh goodness Gina you made me shed a few tears! How awesome that your Katie is on the mend and coming home!!! Will be praying hard that she continues to do so well!! |
I am sooo relieved!!!!! Katie is home! Thank you all so much for the prayers and please keep them up! She seems so happy to be home! I have her set up in my bedroom so I can keep a close eye on her. She's been walking around some and purring. Syringe feeding her through her feeding tube and keeping all her medicines on schedule seems a little daunting, but the vet tech reassured me it should all become routine quickly. We go for a check up in a week and will recheck her blood work at that time. Even if all goes well, we may have to leave the feeding tube in for as long as six weeks. It will take some time, but she should fully recover. :) |
I might have missed it in the previous posts but did you ever get a diagnosis on her? |
So glad to hear that Katie is home. I will continue to pray for her complete recovery. |

I just gave her her first morning feeding and she did great! She was purring up a storm and now that her tummy is full she has settled in for a nap. |
I am so glad they figured it out. I had a cat that his taste changed. He did not like the food I was giving him any more. Good luck. Good thoughts for a full recovery |
so glad kitty is home with her momma. continued prayers for a full recovery. |
