Prayers are on her way .

Update on my mom
 

Today my mom made the decision to stop taking her meds. She is so tired.
She prays every night for the Lord to take her.
My heart is breaking. I pray that she doesn't have to stuggle.
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.
This is so hard.

I'm so sorry, Jan. I know how much you are hurting. I'm sure your love and devotion have helped to give your mom strength. I hope her love helps to give you strength, too. We care, and I will continue to pray for both of you.

I am so broken hearted and just lost.

Bless your heart....this is one of the most difficult things you will every have to experience....those of us who had a close special relationship with our mommas, and have lost those precious souls, know exactly the heart wrenching pain you are going thru now. It takes your breath and your heart and soul actually hurt....and while you think you may not survive the ache and loss you are feeling now, believe me, it eventually does get better.....it takes a long time, and you never forget your precious momma, but slowly, eventually over time, you can actually breathe again. While it does very little to help your feeling of loss, your mother is finally at peace....she is resting peacefully in the arms of her Maker, and she is free from all pain.....first, the struggle, then peaceful restoration. He has written in stone, "Honor thy father and thy mother". Jan, your love and care and comfort you have shown your precious momma when she needed it "on this side", fulfilled His commandment, and He will Bless you and comfort you now in YOUR time of need. He is there for you, you call on Him to heal the pain in your heart, and He will respond! I will continue to pray for you, now that you have arrived at this place in your journey.....allow yourself to lean on Him for His strength and comfort and warmth....He is right there with you Jan, your broken heart is in His hands and He will heal it......He is looking on you know, and saying, "Job well done, Faithful Servant"......

I am so very sorry, Jan. I know how painful it is to lose someone so special, and you have been through so much already. Please know that the love you have shared throughout your lifetime will always be a part of you. I lost my mom when I was close to twenty years old. Through the long span of time without her, my mom still remains such a huge part of my heart and who I am. I will never sto missing or loving her. I hope wth tke your pain eases and that you will be reminded daily of the love you two shared.

I had to say my final goodbye to my Mom on Tuesday.
My heart just broke into a thousand pieces. It was so very hard.
Even today, if I don't keep my mind busy, I find myself in tears.
Everywhere I look in the house, I see something of hers.
I know she isn't suffering any longer, but it's still so very hard and heartbreaking. I miss her so..................

I'm so sorry for your heartache. I know the feeling all too well. God heals the broken-hearted and He will be your comfort in your time of need. A prayer is being said for you this morning for peace, comfort and strength.

Jan, it is one the hardest things in life to lose a Mom or Dad. Praying for you to have peace and your memories ease your heartache.

Jan,
I am praying for you as you go through this very difficult valley. You cry and grieve and know that it is part of the healing process. Mom is no longer suffering and you can be comforted knowing that. Feel her closeness in her sweet spirit. Our mothers are so precious and they are forever close to us. If you can go to a grief class, go. It will be very helpful to you during this time. I have a corner in my home where I put pictures of my loved ones who have gone on to be with Jesus. I go there and light a candle and just spend time praying and thinking of them. I helps me. I have lots of dear hospice patients who have passed and I think of them. You will feel mom's love for you and know that she is not far away. Covering you with prayer and love.
