DEAR LORD THANK YOU upon bringing together the wonderful team to do Corey's surgery, YOU guiding the surgeons hands, leading the way for Corey to have victory for a successful surgery and on the journey to doing the many things that are before him in the future.

Bless his Mother Kim and his Dad George for being the special parents they are.

Praying that Corey will feel abundance of strength coming from YOU as he is healing, giving him the assurance that YOU have YOUR arms about him.

Bless each of the Dr.s and those caring for Corey, giving all the glory to YOU this we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Praying for Corey this morning that all is well and for a quick recovery.....

On Tuesday, Judy (Yorkiemom1), told me to stand still and watch a miracle happen. Never was there a more prophetic word spoken. Corey is up, walking, talking, and eating Big Macs. He says he has a heck of a headache, and he's had about 5 little - 3 second seizures, which is nothing compared to the 15 major ones he'd have each day before surgery. The staff is amazed at his progress, and tomorrow morning he will be going HOME. Mind you, he just had 8 hours of major brain surgery to remove the hippocampus and amygdala, deep in the core center of his brain. They had to remove other pieces of the temporal lobe to even get in that far, not to mention cutting a flap in the skull bone and inserting plates and screws. How many people do you know that go home a day and a half after brain surgery? After the last surgery, he was bedridden, and had rehab to relearn basic things like walking and eating. For the first time in 23 years, this mom has hope. Corey says he is afraid to hope, but I keep telling him, what an amazing group of prayer warriors he has on his side, and prayer changes everything. Though you don't know me, you each stepped in, cared, encouraged, and loved on me and my family during a very dark hour. How do I even begin to say thank you for something like that? I am claiming this healing miracle for my son, believing he will have an amazing story to tell someday. Happy Birthday, Corey. Welcome to the first day of your new life. :bigbdaypa

Please tell Corey that an important part of his recovery will be for him to BELIEVE that God can and will cure him. It is very apparent that Corey is a special child of God and that He has some important work for Corey.

Corey please don't ever be afraid to hope, just put your life in the hands of God, reaching out to HIM, claiming each miracle that HE provides, if and when there are difficult moments. Jesus will carry you then set you down and say, Go my Lad and do what your heart desires, I will always be here to carry you if and when you need me.

Sounds like Corey did his miracle and no telling what the future holds for this young man now! Praise God for his healing touch.

Corey just got his bandage off. No wonder he has a headache! I think it's time for a new hairstyle too. ;) I hope this doesn't offend anyone.
