Please keep Jackie (JacquelineBabco) in prayer. Jackie is in a tremendous amount of pain, she hurt her back this morning, she was seen at urgent care and prayerfully is resting more comfortable through the night.

Jackie you are such a Dear Lady, I am so sad and sorry what happened and pray that the pain has lessened and you are feeling much, much better. Things happen so quick, and unexpectably.

Jack and I feel so very Blessed through our friendship with you, you are such a Blessing to us and I know also to many others. Your love and kindness to the both of us has touched us in such a special way, Jack prayed aloud for you before he fell aslleep tonight, he asked that our friend Jackie be free from pain.

You have been a great inspiration to me Jackie and believe I have drawn strength through you many times over.

Prayers for a speedy recovery for Miss Jackie.

I feel so stupid. Who backs into the garage door! We have an electric garage door opener and I keep the remote on the visor of my car. The remote must have fallen off and was on the floor. I picked it up and when I did I must have touched the switch and closed the door. I started to back out of the garage, without looking first, and heard this crash. That was bad enough but then I was so upset about missing the day of work that I tried to lift the door so I could get my car out and something snaped in my back. I was bent down trying to lift it and I was hit with such pain I couldn't move. I was dumbfounded as to what I was going to do. Eventually I was able to stand and got back into the house. If I had just resolved myself that I wasn't going to work it would have been so much less devastating. I have spent 2 days in bed. The pain meds and muscle relaxers and herbs do make it better but I hate the groggy feeling they leave you with. I was quite amazed that I was able to get out of bed today and felt a little better. The garage door has been replaced and there are only a few scratches on the back of my car so I guess I got the worst of it. I have to put a sticker on my dash that says,"look before backing up". Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. Doesn't seem possible that you can hurt your back so badly just lifting. My doctor is a DO and practices holistic medicine along with regular medicine. She is always suggesting herbs and I have always blown her off, but this time just maybe she has been the reason I feel better so quickly. Thank you Patti for being such a special friend and always having time for others. Wish we were neighbors and I could meet you and Jack.*Yorkie people are a very special gang and I love them all.

I hope you are feeling better. Don't feel bad I closed the garage door on my husbands blazer years ago and on my own car another time.

It happens so quickly and when we least expect it! If you are open to it, acupuncture works wonders for pain (in addition to what you are doing of course ;)) Prayers for your recovery.

Don't you hate when something like that happens? But I can see how it did and just hope you are feeling better soon!

I am one of the people that Jackie has touched with her goodness, her loving heart, compassion, and kindness. She is someone I've grown to love very dearly with her tender heart and her generosity of spirit. Jackie is a true "mensch," a gift to all who know her, and my truly special friend. I wish she could see the beautiful person that I see when I see and think of her.

Jackie, you are there to cheer everyone else up, and I wish I could do for you all that you have done for me. You are a great cheerleader and a truly loyal, loving friend. I can't stand hearing you in pain; it's something I'll never get used to, and I pray that you are free from your pain very soon. Please, please take care of yourself.

Wyatt loves his mom so very much. I do believe that puppy kisses heal the heart, and I am hoping that they can heal other types of pain, as well. That little boy of yours is such an adorable, funny little character, your really special "bad boy," and I love him to bits. I hope you draw strength from your loving Wyatt, Widget, Abby, Hannah and, of course, your mom.

Please get well soon, and know that so many people care about you.

Jackie I just saw this thread today; I'm happy to hear that you are feeling a bit better, and my prayers go out to you for continued fast healing.

You have a lot of courage, dear Jackie, and I hope you each day finds you feeling better by leaps and bounds. You are not one to allow anything to defeat you, so keep fighting, but please try to take care of yourself and allow your body time to heal. You remain in my heart always. I am so grateful that we both love Yorkies and dogs in general and that Ashley and Ember lead us to each other.

Jackie...Patti told me about your back today and I feel so bad. Don't be hard on yourself for hitting the garage....accidents happen all the time! Hugs to you, dear friend, and I will be praying for your very speedy recovery. I've had back problems and know how awful you are feeling. Glad you are a little better today!

Please keep prayers going for Jackie, I got a message from her later today saying that she was in so much pain and had to return home from work early today, she said it hurts so bad to move about.

Jackie I wish we lived close to you so I could come over and help you a bit or be your go for this or that, so you could stay down and rest your back.

I was thinking maybe therapy might help, light ultrasound, moist heat. Whirlpool may help too. I have a long moist heat pad it is wonderful, please ask your Dr.

Jack said to tell you he is especially praying for you too, he says your the GREATEST, we are uplifted many times over enjoying the BEAUTIFUL music from you. We are so very Blessed being your friends, you are loved by so many here.

P.S. I also keep praying for others in need of prayer here at Yorkie Talk, seems here lately so many are having to endure illness and burdens beyond their control, thank God for the strength HE so provides us to get through them, we will.

JACKIE!!! Just seeing this today :eek:. I'm so sorry your back is hurting. It sounds just miserable. What are the doctors saying? I hope they gave you something for pain.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Guess when your an "old bag" it takes longer to get back to normal. I am not in as much pain as I was but I guess it's going to take a little longer to be able to get back to doing anything that requires bending. I get so angry with myself for trying to do something so stupid. I'm sure another week will make a big difference. It certainly is better than it was on Friday so I'll have to be happy with "a little better" at a time. I have no patients and that's what got me in trouble in the first place. Your a great bunch of caring people and I love you all.

Each day I hope that you will be free from pain, and if love could make it so, you would already be healed. I hope the extra kisses from our little girl and hugs from John and me when we see you tomorrow help to show you how very loved you are and to take away some of your pain.
