| We went to see the surgeon today. Alex is taking meds for the infection. However, he doesn't think there is enough fluid built up to try to extract it. He wants to wait a week and see if the swelling goes down on its own. So we are on antibiotics for another week and then back to see them again. I will say this, it looks 10 times better than it did on Saturday. Thanks for the prayers. We really do appreciate them!

| Glad to hear it is looking better. Hopefully this antibiotic will do the trick! We will keep praying for Alex (and his mom).

| Oh, that is as good a news as you could get under the circumstances. Hope the pills will do it all and he'll be infection free very soon. Here is a hug for him and one for you!

| I am so thankful that Alex didn't have to have a drain tube put in. Prayers that the meds work and get rid of that nasty infection. You both deserve a break after all of this.

| I'm so happy to hear that Alex is improving, but I can't wait for him to be free of his infection and pain. It must be heartbreaking for you to see your son like that. I continue to pray for him and your family. You are both very lucky to have each other.

| Thank you so much. And yes as a mother it is heartbreaking to me. On top of that we both are exhausted from the stress of all this. But his knee is looking much better. Maybe we are on the healing stretch!

| Thank Vicki. Alex is going back to the doctor tomorrow. I am still seeing lots of swelling. So I guess we will find out what the game plan is after the visit tomorrow. I will update as soon as I know something.
