Please try not to worry so much. You are already so stressed. I'm afraid you will make yourself sick. This happens all of the time and they have to check it out. My friend had to go back, too, and she was in a near panic. It turned out to be nothing.:)

I went through this a couple of years ago and the 2nd view and ultrasound came back okay. One thing I did learn the hard way.... never ever ever EVER schedule a spot compression mammogram on the first day of that time of the month. :eek:OOOMMMGGG:eek: it felt like she was driving a stake through me.

I can honestly say I know your exact feelings.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

It was still a shock to find out my cancer had come back, but by preparing for the worst, it lessened the blow so to speak. I will be having a bilateral mastectomy followed by chemo and radiation in July.

My prayers go out to you.

Patti, Hope you can feel all the LOVE AND PRAYERS being lifted for you from myself and the wonderful folks here at YT. I am believing along with all the others future test results will come out fine for you.

I have had call backs, they always scare me. My mother passed due to breast cancer --many years ago. With today's treatments she would have been a surviver!!!

Thanks so much! I am trying to stay positive and just want to get it done. Ken is doing poorly so taking care of him has kept my mind off it alot.

If it was something really serious you'd already been seen . I've had call backs because of calcium deposits. I even had a biopsy. It was nothing . Praying all goes well for you.

I hope all turns out well, as the person who asks for the call backs I'm a radiologist I can say most are usually nothing to worry about. Is this the same place that did you mam three years ago, if so you may call and ask the rad if he or she used that as a baseline, if it's not the place you had the prior one done you may get a copy and take to the new image center. FYI I know it's torture but we tend to error on the side of caution these days... Lots of my co workers call it law medicine.

I know you are scared cause I had the same thing on me. Mine turned out to be calicium calcification (?). I got my notice the day before Christmas so it ruined my Christmas that year.
I think now days those machines are so sensitive too and they want to be able to be absolutle sure of everything.

Thank you all so much! You're prayers worked. I had more X rays and an ultrasound and met with the radiologist. It was determined that the area was just normal dense tissue. What a relief. I don't have to go back until next year. Your support is awesome!!!

Yippee! Best news ever!That happened to me too, it was from wearing tight sports bras and when I stopped the tissue went away and now is clear. Check your bras, ladies! lol
