We lit a candle for Darcy, Sending prayers that your sweet little girl will get better fast. |
Just seeing this...sending prayers and well wishes. |
Thanks for the update - we kept wondering how Darcy was. We will continue to pray for little Darcy. It is good to hear she is tolerating extended periods of time out of her oxygen cage! |
We lit a candle for Darcy as well. Sending prayers. |
I tried to light a candle for Darcy, but the website said there was an error. Will keep trying. |
I am keeping Darcy in my prayers. I am glad she is able to enjoy some time outside of her oxygen crate. |
Darcy has spent some time in her oxygen crate today, and some in her bed. The boys and I stretched out beside her and took a long nap this afternoon. She hasn't had much of an appetite today, but she is still drinking water. She has not cleared any of the fluid from her belly, I think she has accumulated more, but my husband thinks it is the same. I have been taking pictures daily, but it is still hard to tell. Darcy has an appointment at 3PM tomorrow to get re-examined, but I can take her in earlier if I need to. I will keep everyone up to date on her progress. Thank You to everyone who has e-mailed, called, texted, pm'ed, or lit a candle for Darcy. I cannot say how comforting it is to know that other people care. My husband is hurting as much as I am, he rescued Darcy, and they bonded right away. I was telling him yesterday that we have prayers coming from as far as Singapore for our girl...she is loved by many, and she is our Super Star. Without her there would be no Darlin Beauxs, and I would have not made so many Darlin Friends |
We have been thinking about Darcy all day, praying for improvement. Our candle is lit. |
I lit a candle for Darcy and will send my prayers for her. |
Prayers still continue for sweet Darcy. |
sending you prayers |
I just lit a candle for Darcy. Saying prayers for Darcy and her loving family too. |
I'm not sure if you have a scale small enough to weigh your princess but if her weight goes up that could tell you if she's holding onto more fluid? Measuring with a tape measure would tell too. I am a nurse working on a heart failure floor for humans. It is interesting to see that they treat dogs with the same meds and procedures. Have they tried any other cardiac medications? Beta Blocker? ARB? Bumex drip? IV lasix? Continued prayers for you and your fur baby! |
Just lit a candle for you pretty girl Darcy. Our family is praying for your continued recovery! |

I know that before she got on the Vasotec and her Lasik was doubled, her girth was 17. I had several dresses and vests made for her in March/April. When we got a few of them in, they were too big. When I re-measured her Monday to order something else, her girth was 15.5 inches. I will have to measure her tomorrow morning. She is in her oxygen tank tonight, and I don't want to stress her. That is a great idea, though. I wish I would have thought of it, but I have just been so distraught over this. |
